Meeting with students of the educational program "Economics"

On February 25, 2020, as part of the

“Week of Economists”, the director of the

COMPLETE and CACTLE Resource

Center, Kose Zhanna Komekovna, gave a

presentation on Stephen Covey’s book “The

Seven Skills of Highly Efficient People”.

Students were very interested, asked a lot of

questions, remained after the end of the

presentation, and were also interested in the

techniques and exercises proposed by the

author of the book. Coverage of passion was

very high.

Meeting with representatives of the State Institution "Department of the Agency of

the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Karaganda

Region"

February 7, 2020 representatives of the

state institution “Department of the Agency

of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil

Service Affairs of the Karaganda Region”

held a meeting with students in the

framework of the “100 Concrete Steps”

project. Civil service specialists informed

university graduates about the possibilities

and conditions for further employment in

the civil service.

Meeting with representatives of Gexabyte LLP

January 23, 2020 There was a meeting

with a representative of Gexabyte LLP. The

HR manager of the company shared how the

working days of the organization’s

employees go, as well as working

conditions, pleasant bonuses for working in

the company. The company requires a

developer of mobile applications for iOS

devices. The organization promises

comfortable conditions for revealing the

talent of a new employee.

Meeting with representatives of Kassa Nova Bank JSC.

January 17, 2020 A meeting was held

with a representative of Kassa Nova Bank

JSC. The manager of the bank explained the

periods and conditions for getting to work in

the bank. She also spoke about the required

knowledge, in case of discrepancy in the

level of knowledge, there is additional

training. The organization has a vacancy in

a small business manager.

Meeting with representatives of LLP «Enegix»

December 10, 2019 at the University

representatives of LLP " Enegix " held a

conversation with students for their further

employment in the company. The

organization announced all working

conditions, requirements for a candidate for

the position of operator-ICT technician.

Students were very interested in the vacancy

and actively asked questions. During the

meeting, representatives of the organization

interviewed students for an invitation to an

interview directly in the city of Ekibastuz,

where the site is located.

Job fair-2019 On November 14, 2019 Karaganda

economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz

held together with social partners, the

employment center of Karaganda the action

"job Fair".

At the job fair, graduates met with

representatives of 65 organizations and

enterprises of Karaganda, passed an Express

interview.

Some companies, and there were a majority

of them, were invited as potential employers

with vacancies; there were companies ready

to take students for professional practice.

Other companies came to recruit among the

graduates of the University talent pool.

Representatives of the civil service

conducted awareness-raising work in order

to be accepted into the civil service in the

future: they advised on testing, interviews

and competitions.

Master class on resume preparation and interview preparation

komekovna Kose 06.11.2019 held a master

class on resume preparation and interview

preparation for graduate students. The main

objectives of the master class are to teach

the skills of self-presentation, which are

important in hiring, public speaking,

negotiating, meeting new people, as well as

the students discussed the basic rules of

resume preparation.

Meeting with representatives of the program «Zhas Orken»

Karaganda economic University on

October 31, 2019 held a meeting with

students of all graduating groups in 2020

with representatives of the program "Zhas

Orken" - ualieva Adina Timurovna-

coordinator of the program "Zhas Orken"

and Omarova Asel Zhanbyrshykyzy- SMM

manager.

During the meeting, the graduates were

told about the program as a whole , about

the great opportunities that this program

opens. They were informed about

geographical mobility, which is one of the

criteria of the winners of the competition,

about the timing, how the participants are

eliminated, how and when to apply.

Students actively asked their questions.

Representatives organized mini-quizzes and

tasks on attentiveness and awareness. We

hope that the students of our University will

take part in the competitive selection.

Meeting with representatives of «Halyk Bank» JSC

A meeting of students of the

specialties "Accounting and Auditing",

"Economics", "Finance", "Management" ,

"jurisprudence" was held at the Karaganda

Economic University. With representatives

of «Halyk Bank» JSC, during which issues

of the possibility of employing university

graduates in the bank were discussed.

Students and graduates learned about

the available vacancies in the bank,

employee motivation, including career

opportunities. Bank representatives invited

university graduates to work, emphasizing

that the KEU diploma is always in demand

in the labor market, and its holders are

distinguished by a high level of education

and professionalism. Graduates of KEU

have provided their bank representatives

with resumes for internships and further

employment.

Meeting with representatives of SB «Sberbank» JSC

On October 9, 2019, Karaganda

economic University hosted a meeting of

graduates of 2018-2019 with a

representative of SB JSC "Sberbank" -

Bakirova Zhuldyz Nabitksupovna, a leading

specialist in the sector of personnel and

organizational records management.

Graduates and students of specialties

"Finance", "Economics", "Accounting and

audit", "World economy" were invited to

the meeting.

Zhuldyz offered to pass an

Express interview to fill real vacancies in

the Bank. They currently require 5

consultants. Students were interested in the

motivational policy implemented in the

Bank, career opportunities, features and

differences in the positions of "Consultant"

and "Manager".

The representative of the Bank also

noted that graduates of KEU have a high

level of professionalism and they are always

happy to meet our graduates.

Conference «KEUK Talks»

On April 30, 2019, the University

hosted the KEUK Talks conference – the

first conference platform of this format. The

conference "KEUK Talks" was attended by

4 speakers:

1. Daniyar Zhanabayev-student of

"Bolashak" Academy, topic: "Reduction of

youth unemployment".

2. Erlan Rakhimov - Director of the

language center, teacher, entrepreneur,

lawyer, topic: "business Development

without investments".

3. Madina Churakova-student of

Bolashak Academy, topic: "Visualizations

away of successful learning languages"

(Visualization as a way of successful

language learning).

4. Kose Zhanna Komyakova-Ph. D.,

business coach, psychologist, professional

coach of ICU, specialist of neuro graphics,

topic: "how to fill life with meaning".

«Job fair-2019» For graduate students and graduates of

previous years KEU

On April 17, 2019, together with the state

enterprise "employment Center of

Karaganda akimat", the "job Fair-2019" was

held with the participation of heads and

leading specialists of state institutions, IT

companies, production companies, etc. With

the outreach program "Youth practice"

employers selected resumes, explained the

features of work in a particular position and

conducted interviews.

Explanation of JSC "Financial center" MES RK order of distribution and direction of young professionals

11 April 2019 resource center strategic

development Department organized a

meeting with the representative of JSC

"Financial center" of the MES RK and

2019 graduates (master, doctoral) enrolled

in the state educational order. The purpose

of the meeting is to explain the Rules of

sending a specialist to work, granting the

right to self-employment, exemption from

the obligation or termination of the

obligation to work by citizens who studied

on the basis of the state educational order.

Career prospects in the Corporation JSC

«ArcelorMittal Temirtau»

On March 19, 2019 the meeting of

graduates of KEU with representatives of

JSC «ArcelorMittal Temirtau» Corporation

took place. The Deputy financial Director

and the head of the structural unit told the

graduates about the conditions of

employment and career prospects. The

meeting was held in the format of a

conversation and an еxpress interview.

Informational and explanatory meeting with representatives of MPI "

employment center of Karaganda akimat»

21 February 2019, a meeting of

University alumni, students CABL and

alumni from previous years (2017, 2018)

with KSU "employment Center of the

akimat of Karaganda city", organized by the

strategic development Department. The

purpose of the meeting is to inform

graduates about the implementation of the

program "Youth practice" and state support

for further employment.

On 20 February 2019, a meeting with

potential employers of «Delta M» МLP for

3rd year University students was held,

organized by the Department of strategic

development.

Presentation of the program «Trainee»

Representative of «Eurasia Copper

PLC» Sagimbayev Meiram February 13,

2019 held a presentation of the program

"Trainee" for graduates of KEU. He

conducted a survey of graduates and

informed them about the duration of the

internship and the criteria for its successful

completion.
