How to plait your ponies tailPippa Pony rider says:

Follow these step-by-step instructions to plait your pony’s tail

ready for a show!

1. Comb your pony’s tail to get rid of knots and tangles

2. Take a small section of hair from the centre, left and right at the top of the tail as shown

3. Make a plait

4. Take a small section of hair from the left of the tail just underneath the plait, join it together with the section of hair from the plait as shown

5. Plait

6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 with hair on the right side of the tail

7. Repeat steps 4 - 6 until around the bottom of the dock then continue to plait WITHOUT taking any more side sections

8. Fold up the plait and fasten securely with an elastic band

is a skill that needs to be learned to do it safely
