2 INSTALLATION
21 Before you begin
Step 1 Ensure that you have all the equipment needed to make a properinstallation of the system
Step 2 Also ensure that grounding terminals AC-distributions are properlyavailable
Step 3 Take care that the regulations of IEC 60364 and CENELEC HD384concerning installation and assembling of telecommunication andelectrical equipment have been noticed The local regulations andspecial instructions must also be noticed during the work Whenchoosing the place of the installation please notice that the cooling air
must flow without restrictions through the ventilation holes The systemmust have enough space in front of it for operation and service functionsNotice the direction of the cabling and the required space of the otherequipment
22 Unpacking the system
Step 1 Check that the received cargo is according to the packing list
Step 2 Ensure that the cabinet and the equipment are not damaged duringtransportation
Step 4 Check that proper documents are delivered with the system andnecessary contact information for technical support is included

41 System cabinet
Step 1 Set the system cabinet standing in its place and straighten it if neededby adjusting the base
Step 2 Fasten the plinth of the cabinet to the ground base with the four screws(M12) The dimension of the fixing holes are shown bellow

42 Electrical connections
Remove the front cover from the AC distribution
Note Check if the all appropriate protection elements to supply the system in
the AC site main distribution are switched OFF
421 Grounding
Connect the protective-grounding terminal of the cabinet mechanics to the maingrounding bus bar of the site by proper cable
Step 1 Bring in the PE cable through input sleeve packing on the back of thecabinet so that there is enough length to make the connections
Step 2 Connect the PE cable to the protective-grounding terminal of the cabinet

Below in the table 1 are the recommended mains fuse sizes for the protection of thesupply line and cable cross sections for 1 phase AC input

Step 1 Bring in the AC input and output cables through input sleeves packing
on the back of the cabinet so that there is enough length to make theconnections To make this easier you could open the side doors (leftandor right) For that two screws in each side (accessible from the front)have to be unscrewed
Step 2 Connect AC input cables ndash PE cable to the PE terminal phase cable (L)to the phase connection and the neutral (N) cable to the N-connection ofthe input MCB breaker F0 in the AC distribution (Figure 5)

425 Battery connections
Step 1 Make sure that batteries circuits breakers BF11 and BF12 in DPS1200B-48-4 power system are in the OFF-position
Step 2 Install the batteries on their shelves
Step 3 Connect the internal battery cables so that the total nominal voltage ofeach battery string is 48 V Connect the systemrsquos pre-installed batteryconnection cable marked as ldquo+rdquo to the free plus-pole of the battery stringand the cable marked as ldquo-rdquo to the free negative pole The battery strings
are numbered according to the battery fuse it is connected to
Fasten the all cables to the cable supporter behind AC distribution in the cabinet
Install the front cover from the AC distribution on their position
426 Rectifiers installation
Step 1 Install the DPR 1200B -48 rectifiers in the DPS 1200B-48-4 powersystem (see details in DPS 1200B-48-4 user manual)

51 Starting up the system
Taking the system into use is presented below step-by-step
Step 1 Check that the all connections are made according to the installationinstructions and the wiring diagram
Step 2 Check that the all circuit breakers in AC distribution and DPS 1200B-48-4 system are in ldquoOFFrdquo-position
Step 3 Power on the outdoor system by switching ON the appropriate switch inthe AC site distribution
Step 4 Power on the DPS 1200B-48-4 system by switching ON the circuitbreaker F0
Step 5 Switch ON the batteries circuits breakers BF11 and or BF12 in DPS1200B-48-4 system
Step 6 Check if DPS 1200B-48-4 system work properly (see details in DPS1200B-48-4 user manual)
Step 7 Power on the output loads by switching ON the 1F1 divide 1F4 output circuitbreakers accordingly
Step 8 Start the Air Conditioner by switching on the circuit breaker FAC
Step 9 Check if Air Conditioner work properly (see details in air conditioner user
manual ndash the factory setting for the start cooling temperature is 25 ordmC)

Step 3 Connect the internal battery cables so that the total nominal voltage ofeach battery string is 48 V Connect the systemrsquos pre-installed batteryconnection cable marked as ldquo+rdquo to the free plus-pole of the battery stringand the cable marked as ldquo-rdquo to the free negative pole The battery strings
are numbered according to the battery fuse it is connected to
Fasten the all cables to the cable supporter behind AC distribution in the cabinet
Install the front cover from the AC distribution on their position

Taking the system into use is presented below step-by-step
Step 1 Check that the all connections are made according to the installationinstructions and the wiring diagram
Step 2 Check that the all circuit breakers in AC distribution and DPS 1200B-48-4 system are in ldquoOFFrdquo-position
Step 3 Power on the outdoor system by switching ON the appropriate switch inthe AC site distribution
Step 4 Power on the DPS 1200B-48-4 system by switching ON the circuitbreaker F0
Step 5 Switch ON the batteries circuits breakers BF11 and or BF12 in DPS1200B-48-4 system
Step 6 Check if DPS 1200B-48-4 system work properly (see details in DPS1200B-48-4 user manual)
Step 7 Power on the output loads by switching ON the 1F1 divide 1F4 output circuitbreakers accordingly
Step 8 Start the Air Conditioner by switching on the circuit breaker FAC
Step 9 Check if Air Conditioner work properly (see details in air conditioner user
manual ndash the factory setting for the start cooling temperature is 25 ordmC)

21 Before you begin
Step 1 Ensure that you have all the equipment needed to make a properinstallation of the system
Step 2 Also ensure that grounding terminals AC-distributions are properlyavailable
Step 3 Take care that the regulations of IEC 60364 and CENELEC HD384concerning installation and assembling of telecommunication andelectrical equipment have been noticed The local regulations andspecial instructions must also be noticed during the work Whenchoosing the place of the installation please notice that the cooling air
must flow without restrictions through the ventilation holes The systemmust have enough space in front of it for operation and service functionsNotice the direction of the cabling and the required space of the otherequipment
22 Unpacking the system
Step 1 Check that the received cargo is according to the packing list
Step 2 Ensure that the cabinet and the equipment are not damaged duringtransportation
Step 4 Check that proper documents are delivered with the system andnecessary contact information for technical support is included

Step 1 Set the system cabinet standing in its place and straighten it if neededby adjusting the base
Step 2 Fasten the plinth of the cabinet to the ground base with the four screws(M12) The dimension of the fixing holes are shown bellow

21 Before you begin
Step 1 Ensure that you have all the equipment needed to make a properinstallation of the system
Step 2 Also ensure that grounding terminals AC-distributions are properlyavailable
Step 3 Take care that the regulations of IEC 60364 and CENELEC HD384concerning installation and assembling of telecommunication andelectrical equipment have been noticed The local regulations andspecial instructions must also be noticed during the work Whenchoosing the place of the installation please notice that the cooling air
must flow without restrictions through the ventilation holes The systemmust have enough space in front of it for operation and service functionsNotice the direction of the cabling and the required space of the otherequipment
22 Unpacking the system
Step 1 Check that the received cargo is according to the packing list
Step 2 Ensure that the cabinet and the equipment are not damaged duringtransportation
Step 4 Check that proper documents are delivered with the system andnecessary contact information for technical support is included

41 System cabinet
Step 1 Set the system cabinet standing in its place and straighten it if neededby adjusting the base
Step 2 Fasten the plinth of the cabinet to the ground base with the four screws(M12) The dimension of the fixing holes are shown bellow

Remove the front cover from the AC distribution
Note Check if the all appropriate protection elements to supply the system in
the AC site main distribution are switched OFF
421 Grounding
Connect the protective-grounding terminal of the cabinet mechanics to the maingrounding bus bar of the site by proper cable
Step 1 Bring in the PE cable through input sleeve packing on the back of thecabinet so that there is enough length to make the connections
