How to Install ROM (.tar.md5) using Odin Before you Begin: 

Task 1: Install USB drivers for your device on your PC. You can download and install Samsung                                 

USB Drivers. 

Task 2: Be sure to backup your data including Contacts, SMS / MMS, APN & MMS Settings as                                   

well as photos and videos stored on your device’s internal or external storage. 

Task 3: Make sure that your device is well charged. Ideally, the battery level should be around                                 

60­80%. The more the better. 

Task 4: USB Debugging should be enabled on your device. To enable USB Debugging :                   

Open Settings-> Developers Option-> USB Debugging->Tick to enable. 

Task 5: Make sure that Samsung Kies is not running. 

Steps to Flash Samsung Android Device with Odin 3.09  1­ Download official firmware of Odin 3.10.6.  2­ Unzip the downloaded files (odin3 and firmware) only one time   3­ Open "Odin3" as administrator   4­ Click on PDA (AP for Odin3 v3.09) button and browse to the *.tar or *.tar.md5 file that you extracted (this is for firmware which contains only one file *.tar or *.tar.md5)   

  

 

  5 ­ Disconnect any device connected to USB ports on your computer and disable your antivirus software   6 ­ Shut down your device and put it into download mode (Volume down + Home + Power) 7 ­ Volume up to continue  

  9 ­ Connect the device to your computer by USB cable and wait until you get a sign in Odin                                       (ID:COM section) and "Added" in message  

 

10 ­ Make sure repartition is NOT TICKED   

  

11 ­ Click Start and wait a few minutes.  

  

Now, your Samsung Device will restart without any issue with the Stock Rom you have flashed.
