Interpersonal Competency

There`s one phrase i hate to see on any executive`s evaluation, no matter how talented he may be, and that`s the line : “He has trouble getting along with other people”. To me that`s

the kiss of death.

“Your report is too sloppy. You`ll have to retype it”

“I`m afraid the boss will get angry at both of us if we turn in a report whit this many errors. We`ll get a better reaction if it`s retyped”

- Focus on solving problems, not controling others.

- Be honest; dont manipulate

- Show concern for others

- Demostrate an attitude of equality

- Listen whit an open mind
