NEWS
Prince Phillip once said “A gun is no more dangerous than a cricket
bat in the hands of a madman”. He was right. This week the
madmen of OD CUACO caused carnage with their cricket bats,
amassing over 1000 runs for the club across the 5 Saturday league
fixtures. Special mentions must go to Dario Boyce for his first OD’s
50, and to newcomer Tom Howe who scored a century for the 4th XI
on debut. You can see from later on in the newsletter that Tom also
set fantasy alight this week, with a ridiculously high scoring week.
Elsewhere on the cricketing radar, it was great to see 4 young
debutants in the 5th XI. Reports have said the boys absolutely loved
the experience. Thanks to all those who helped them have such a
great day and let’s hope there will be many more to come!
Also well done to the ODs Old Bats, a side formed of 6 of our colt’s
mothers! Please take the time to read their match report in this
newsletter, kindly provided by Jane East
I’ll use this opportunity to promote both the 200 Club and Race
Night.
Please sign up for the 200 club! a one off payment of £20 puts you
in the hat for 4 prize draws with top prize of £200. Please speak to
Howard Smith for more details. Think of it as a slightly more
expensive, but more rewarding scratchcard, with proceeds going to
the club.
Race Night will be held on the evening of 7th July. Please keep an
eye out for flyers about the event, or just be prepared for Rebecca
Hamilton who says she is about to start nagging. See the end of the
newsletter for more details.
No game for the 1st XI this week so *just* the four Men’s teams out
on Saturday. Good luck to them and to all others representing ODs
this coming week

MATCH REPORTS:
1st XI
To start, I would like to use a song to set up this match; 'What a
difference a week makes... 168 little hours!' Edited Jamie Cullum,
2003.
Furthermore, and in the words of many OD legends, there were
'runs for sale' this weekend at OD CUACO!!!
A week had passed from our disappointments of the previous
game, failing to chase down a mediocre 128, but there was an air
of excitement and expectation around the place, with our
unbeaten home record still intact. The visitors were Catford
Cyphers, and they were also in decent nick, with an impressive win
against Harvel in the previous week. Even with their current form,
and a guy who scored 195 red ink, it was no match for the
complete performance by OD CUACO that occurred during the
afternoon of the 8th of March 2018.
OD's batting first on a new wicket, set the tone with an important
open stand of 84. Jamie Batten batting once again with class and
confidence, supported by the old man of the team, Yogi. The opening partnership seemed to squash the
early chat from Catford, with the OD's boys playing along the ground and into gaps, putting excellent
pressure on the Catford boy's ground fielding.
Once Yogi (41) departed the fun then really started. Enter the destroyer, Dario (can't win a football
match) Boyce. Some might say this was overdue, but with a little control and calmness, the class of our
Barbadian team mate shined through in a glorious manner. He and Jamie put on 130 runs for the next
wicket, setting up the innings and the match. Jamie
ended on an industrious 86, with Dario just missing out
on the honours board, with a devastating 92. In a late
flurry, and to create momentum into the second
innings, mentions must go to Winks (24) and the skip
(17). Both sending the ball to all parts, it left use setting
281 to win, meaning the moral in the Catford dressing
room was lively to say the least.
After a fine tea as ever, the saying 'runs on the board'
was how the game continued. Catford from the first
over to the last, were put under unbelievable pressure,
both with impressive bowling from Chris Webster (6-2-
12-5) and Jamie Batten (6-2-15-3), and supported by
some unbelievable, and at times professional standard
catching and fielding. The buzz around the side gave

Catford no stiff at all! In the 299 games I have played for this club, I honestly feel that was the most
complete performance I have ever seen. It was a pleasure standing at mid-on watching Chris and Jamie's
spells, with Jamie, Chris and Andy Ainger taking (what Clappy would describe as 'straight out of the sock
draw') Jonty Rhodes standard catches. 63 all out was what Catford finished on, and in all honestly, they
were lucky to get that many.
Long may this continue fellas. Gravesend watch out, we are coming for you!

2nd XI
Arriving at Homebase on a sunny Saturday
afternoon to the sight of a lovely batting deck at
Catford Wanderers, the 2nd XI feared being
consigned to fielding first. However, the
generous opposition skipper offered up the
chance to bat first, which was taken very keenly.
Richard Loader and Laurence Sanders resumed
their opening duties and put on a very solid half
century stand to begin the innings - marked with
a proud handshake between overs. Such was
the pleasant nature of the pitch, Laurence
managed to cut consecutive deliveries to the
fence.
Richard’s characteristic elegance at the crease
took him towards another solid score, but
shades of jug avoidance about the dismissal on
42 as he was trapped lbw shortly before drinks.
Sanders was joined by captain Webster - with
the vibrant prospect of Mike Parr arriving at the
crease, these two stalwarts of blocking could
not afford to revert to old habits. A surprisingly
punchy partnership developed - plenty of ones and twos, a hoick over mid-wicket and some alarmingly
ungainly hacks to the leg-side by Sanders brought him a deserved half-century. The aggression didn’t stop
there, as the returning opening bowler put pace on the ball to further aid the run-scoring - a searing pull
shot wide of mid-on brought Laurence another boundary and ensured that no further bouncers would be
attempted.
With the score at 160/1 after 32 overs, the captain fell for 39, attempting to steer a cut shot to the short
boundary only for the ball to nip back and clip off stump via an inside edge.
Parr strode to the crease. The game changed.
In a scintillating display of (largely) controlled hitting, interspersed with measured defence against the odd
delivery, Parr dispatched bowlers left, right and centre. (Well, mainly left...) Within ten overs he was
Dan wonders why he was given this book. He already knows

approaching a remarkable century. Laurence fell during the course of this period, edging behind and
deciding to walk - despite the jocular West Indian umpire not hearing the nick. Jack Abrahams joined Parr
and played the perfect supporting role by taking singles and letting the star of the show take centre stage.
The score raced past 250, with Parr communicating with the scorers - asking square leg to WhatsApp the
captain back in the pavilion - to check his total. This proved the ambition of the man, seeking the landmark
which would haul his team towards a startling total of 300, but he holed out to cow corner of all places,
falling eight short of that elusive hundred.
A late flourish from Abrahams lifted the final total to an imposing 288/4 (46). Not bad for a team inserted
by the opposition!
The captain decided that the usual tactical gathering before taking to the field should become a full-on
huddle, and conveyed a desire to kill the game off early in the run chase. Dan Hunter struck two early
blows with some impressive swing bowling, before the skipper took another two wickets to really force
home ODs' advantage.
The change bowlers of Tej Patel and Eric Clemming both seemed to complain of ailments, but more
wickets fell to Eric as Catford subsided before drinks. With the game killed off as desired, a rather
inexplicable passage of play followed, with the home side plodding along with little intention of chasing the
final total. Seth Tyler and Ashwani Arora wheeled through their spinning spells as ODs raced through the
overs - not even Laurence's doom-mongering about the threat of non-existent rain could halt the charge
for victory.
Eventually the stubborn partnership was broken, and the tail hit out in vain, with their side less than
halfway to achieving the required total. Tej burgled another three-for, taking his season's total to 9 wickets
at an average of 3.33 - particularly impressive given that most of the runs against his name have been
wides and no-balls.
ODs completed victory as Ashwani spun one through the gate and dismissed the number 11. A 152-run
victory after a perfect batting display and an effective bowling performance, backed up by energetic and
committed fielding. What more could you ask for?

3rd XI
OD Cuaco 3rd XI 104-1 (19.3 overs) beat Catford & Cyphers 3rd XI 100 all out (36.1 overs) by 9 wickets
Could Catford restore some pride over Beckenham’s finest after two chastening defeats by our higher
teams? Quite simply - no.
Finally a W on the board for OD Cuaco 3's! We arrived at the Warren in good spirits and a quick look at the
team sheet saw some very welcome names returning - Bill Long and Mark Coles making their first league
appearances of the season along with Pete White and Bill Rouse with their first appearances of any kind
this season. At that to a late call up to Matti Haidar along with some regulars and we were good to go.
The toss was lost but no problem - the oppo let us bowl which the skipper was very happy with given the
line-up. Andy Hall and Simon Henley started off and the first wicket was taken early - a caught and bowled
5
for Hall. The two batsmen in looked very sharp though but not as sharp as the 3rd team’s fielders - Haidar
and White taking advantage of some sloppy running with superb run outs - Pete White's in particular
hitting the one stump that he could see. Haidar and Paul Hunter took over bowling duties and took us
through to drinks with Haidar snaffling the 4th wicket just before the juice - caught by Russ Newell. Haidar
struck again immediately after drinks and Bill Long, replacing the ridiculously economical Hunter then
tortured the middle order - three batsmen done LBW - you must get forward on this pitch! Bill Rouse got a
few overs under his belt before Henley and Hall returned to finish things off - Henley taking out the oppo's
main man caught and bowled with Hall and Haidar combining for the last.
The fielding was superb throughout and we have to mention Matti Haidar's bowling - an outstanding 10
overs a pleasure to watch.
At the tea interval we got to see the 1's adding some serious late runs against Cyphers 1st team and it was
not looking like a good day for Catford at the Home of Cricket. Once tea was finished however, it was game
on - we had a job to do.
White and Coles started off and put on a solid 51 for the first wicket, with White the man out having
scored the most of the runs (39). Will Sanders then came in and he and Coles made short work of the rest
of the chase, playing sensibly while dispatching anything loose. Coles finished on 45 not out with Sanders
on 16. We really must apologise here to Liam Osborne who fielded beautifully but was left stranded with
pads on and nowhere to go.
A huge points win taking us nicely into our match this week against last year’s rivals Roan and Lambethans
who are flying high. Let’s hope we can take them down.

4th XI
OD Cuaco IV XI put last week’s defeat behind them with comprehensive victory over Orpington IV XI.
Normal service was resumed for the 2C-South Thames 2017 Champions as Sawko’s men defeated an
Orpington team, whom were 3 games unbeaten, by 153 runs whilst securing maximum points.
Winning the Toss, OD Cuaco opted to Bat and it turned out to be an inspired choice. Smith and Howe got
OD’s off to a solid start getting to 34 without loss before Smith (10) edged to first slip. The arrival of Anand
brought about a wonderful array of shot making and if it weren’t for his niggling injury the score would
likely had been higher. Regardless, Anand reached his second fifty of the season well before Howe who,
after 8 years out of the game, was still finding his feet, and the pair put together an enjoyable 119
partnership before Meenakshisundaram was caught behind for 72. Howe was then joined by youngsters
Issac Loader (18) and William East (30). Both young men played very well, executing elegant cricket shots
and scoring boundaries. Will East even took to charging the bowlers. These were valuable contributions at
an important time of game and allowed Howe to build good partnerships and play his shots. Howe reached
his 100 and looked nothing short of exhausted. Whilst encouraged by his skipper to bat through, fatigue
had settled in and Howe had one thing on his mind and that was to make as many runs in the quickest
time possible. Howe was eventually bowled for 117 having batted for 39 of the 40 overs, marking a good
comeback into the game. Boyden and Rouse saw OD’s out to settle on 269-5.
6
After a well-deserved tea (unbelievable samosas), OD’s
had runs to play with which permitted the bowlers to
set aggressive wicket taking fields.
Openers East and Thomas bowled brilliant line and
lengths and restricted the Orpington openers. Dot balls
were mounting and it was only a matter of time until
the pressure gave in and East claimed his first and only
victim of the day (5-2-11-1), taking down an Orpington
opener, brilliantly caught in the gully, 5 times, by
Smith. Both East and Howard (5-0-21-0) were very
unlucky not to have more victims however, keeping the
opposition to 31-1 off 10 overs and needing a further
239 to win off 30 overs, meant that the pressure was
firmly on the home side. The introduction of James
Tinkler and Anand Meenakshisundaram (5-0-20-2)
brought about 5 wickets in quick succession. The home
side went from 42-1 to 50-6 in the space of 7 overs.
OD’s bowling attack continued to bowl superbly in
pairs with the skipper Sawko (7-0-25-0) providing a
supporting role for the young leg spinner, Loader, who
looked effortless and relaxed today claiming 3 wickets
(2 bowled, 1 caught), in a fantastic spell of ripping turn,
comprising 7 overs, 1 maiden, for 22 runs. With one
wicket remaining and proving to be a little elusive, Sawko turned again to Tinkler who had claimed each of
his 3 wickets in his first spell clean bowled. It took only 6 balls for Tinkler to claim his fourth wicket of the
day, and yes it was once again bowled. Tinkler finished on 6-2-16-4 and was just one fine part of bowling
attacked that dominated from start to finish.
The IV XI find themselves at home next week and back to back wins can help them climb out of the drop
zone (although very early on in the season).
(Skipper’s edit: With such a great all round performance this week at least 4 would be worthy of a Man of
the Match award in any ’normal’ week. But being forced to select just one, the accolade goes to Tom
Howe for only the 4s sixth ton in the play cricket era and for completely demoralising the opposition, for a
tough 39 overs, in his first game for the club)

HSBC 4th XI v OD Cuaco 5th XI
So, the first Saturday 5s game of the year
and the skipper was nowhere to be seen.
The call came, 'Parks, fancy skippering? 4
senior debutants from the U13s, 2 over
75s, give everyone a game'. Oppo claimed
similar strength team in emails during the
week, 35 over game deemed best.
Lost toss bowled.
Asa Smith and Noah de Vaux opened the
bowling with Asa taking a couple of
wickets in his second over, one thanks to
a fine cover catch from Jack McCarthy
and one bowled. The home no 4 chanced his arm before falling to a catch by HD Smith off Noah. Kai
Bennett replaced Noah and picked up the fourth wicket thanks to the skipper finally holding on to one that
hit all four limbs.
At the other end, Alex Davison then bowled some beautiful in swing and trapped the no 6 plumb in front.
As out an LBW as I think I have ever seen. HSBC then batted very well until Couch enticed the opener into
snicking off. Alex then bowled the no 7. Turns out this was his old school teacher! This brought the home
skipper to the crease who batted very well for a 51* assisted by one of his sons who scored 47 to set a very
challenging target.
Freddie Sweeting bowled a good spell without any luck and then Asa and Noah returned for second spells,
each took another wicket. The skip then fancied his chances against the number 11. Five deliveries of
absolute rubbish later, he finally decided to try a slower ball. De Vaux was perfectly placed at cover to
snaffle. 209 all out in 34 overs.
Unfortunately, Richard Bennett had injured himself trying to field the ball and had to go to Beckenham
Minor Injuries Unit, after having his sausage and chips for tea, of course. Kai and Anil opened the innings
before Anil was bowled by a shooter. Kai batted well, watching a few partners depart before he too was
undone by a good ball. In fact, batting proved a struggle for most of us with really only Alex and Howard
making a good impression near the end of the innings.
We ended 97 all out in 30.1 overs.
In truth, we were a little bit out gunned by the oppo. We gave senior debuts to four very talented young
cricketers with two of them getting their first senior wickets. A great performance considering they were
playing on pitches one yard longer than they are used to with heavier balls. As we have come to expect,
the fielding from the youngsters was excellent and I really hope all four debutants enjoyed the game
enough to again show the rest of us how to play.

Sunday Friendly XI
ODs 148-8 (35) beat Oakhill Taverners 130 (34.3) by 18 runs
In glorious sunshine, the skipper broke the habit of a lifetime and won the toss. On hearing this news, Sam
Parke and George Cook began padding up safe in the knowledge that ODs would be batting.
Unfortunately, Sam was a tad rusty and dismissed early doors but George and Andy Rouse built a good
partnership on a slowish pitch against a steady attack, taking ODs up to 30-1 after 10. Rouse was out
seeking to up the ante but this familiar face called 'Bill' Rouse replaced him and hit a couple of lusty blows.
Unfortunately, ODs suffered a mini-collapse as Bill, George (23) and Liam Osborne were out in quick
succession to leave the total at 65-5 after 20. Sanders (25) and Dave Vigus began to rebuild with some
enterprising running to take the total to 110 before both were out, accompanied by Phil Parke, to leave
ODs reeling at 110-8 and in danger of not utilising their alloted 35 overs. Fortunately, the legendary A Hall
(19*) was on hand, supported by Harry Deans, to add an excellent final partnership and take the total up
to an eminently defendable 148. Runs on the board, as someone may have once said!
Following their batting triumph, Hall and Deans opened the bowling and
restricted the Taverners' scoring, before Hall comprehensively bowled out
his victim. A good partnership ensued and took the score to 50-1, with
Parke and H Deans Snr unlucky not to pick up wickets. However, ODs
stayed in the game and wickets began to tumble with a good catch from
Phil Parke’s son at cover off Sam Parke’s Dad’s bowling.
At 80-4, the game was in the balance and so the skip called on Bill Rouse.
Calling on his recent sprint training, he delivered a fine 7 over burst to turn
the game irreversibly towards ODs. Huey Deans picked up the key wicket
of the Taverners' number 3 as the required rate escalated above 7 an over.
Vigus cannily collected a stumping by use of his pads and so it was left to
Hall to clean up the hapless number 11. A great bowling and fielding effort
from all involved as at one stage, the Taverners had seemed to be in a
great position.

Under 15
Hartley Country Club U15 144-7 (24 overs) ODCUACO U15 129-8 (24 overs)
Hartley won by 15 runs
For the first time in living memory Hartley Country Club came to us (rather than the other way round).
Hartley only arrived with 9 players so it was going to be an interesting contest between the younger but
more numerous ODCUACO and the older and more powerful Hartley.
As is customary we lost the toss and so once again took the field. Alex O’Loughnane and Louis Mills went
for early runs as the openers took maximum toll of anything loose but once again Alex O struck an early
blow to calm things a little. Next up were 2 contrasting spells from the 1st change bowlers. Lewis Moreno-
9
Nind (3 overs for 7 runs) turned in yet another miserly bowling performance with no batsmen able to get
after his bowling. Asa Smith had a real nightmare getting his line right but when he did he bowled some
absolute pearlers one of which totally bamboozled the remaining opening batsmen who missed a ball that
moved off the seam to bowl him.
The best bowling of the day came from Olly Colby whose first 2 balls went straight into the slip cordon to
be snatched up by Messrs Loader and East. The hat-trick ball was right on the money and was very sensibly
defended by the incoming batter. The rest of his spell was a tribute to the benefits of bowling at the
stumps and he ended with 2-11 from his 3 overs. Just as we seemed to be chipping away at the batting line
up we started leaking runs from extras and the odd boundary. Isaac Loader discovered what many a leg-
spinner has found out from bitter experience: long-hops and full tosses go to the boundary, balls pitched
up to inexperienced batsmen bamboozle them. He ended with figures of 3-0-18-3; Hartley finished on 144.
With a larger total to chase than the previous week and bigger boundaries it was going to require some
good batting to win this game. On the plus side Hartley only had 9 on the field.
Toby and Isaac opened the batting but we soon lost Toby trying to repeat an earlier shot that had gone for
4. William and Isaac then put on a 50 partnership however the run rate, which had started out at 6 an
over, was reaching 8 an over. Isaac was out LBW playing across the line and we then lost 2 further wickets
to run outs as the attempt to stay up with the rate took its toll.
William retired on 50 having benefited from a number of dropped catches and some generous umpiring
from the opposition umpire. At this point the rate was reaching 9 an over and despite the efforts of Louis
Mills (18) and Olly Colby (11*) we finished 15 runs short and Hartley were deserved winners.

OD’s Old Bats Softball team
So the eagerly anticipated debut of the Old Bats Ladies softball cricket team was suddenly upon us. The
first major error that had befallen the team was that they didn’t realise that it was actually softball cricket
and not softball, so all talk of school rounders had been rendered useless and they were all wishing they
had listened to their little darlings more when they had talked about cricket!
The Whatsapp chat on the day had ranged from what to wear, what pre-training had been done (eating a
bag of revels!!), who had gotten them into this mess in the first place but more importantly, what time
would they be serving the free prosecco!?!?
Due to slight miscommunication as to what time the event started, Becca DV and Rebecca H were thrown
in the deep end when they were the only 2 members of the team that arrived on time and the opposition
of a Beckenham team elected to field. Nikki and Jane had the shock of their lives when they happily idled
along to be thrown a fluorescent orange top and told to get a move on as the game had started. Julie
10
arrived with some much needed
supporters in the form of her
husband and son and the game
got underway with 5 team
members and one ringer who
stepped in until Jo arrived.
Given the fact that it was the
first match and the opposition
were less than friendly, they did not embarrass themselves. In spite of some great catching and batting
from Nikki and expert wicket-keeping from Rebecca (yes that’s where Henry gets it from!), they fell short
and did not win. The ringer top scored and then hastily ran off to be with her own team.
Luckily the free prosecco arrived just as the first game finished. It must have done wonders as they won
the next match quite comfortably even though four wickets tumbled in the first over and an East/de Vaux
run out (no need to apportion blame!) didn’t help but it was nice to carry on that particular family
tradition!!!! Tears of laughter from other members of the team could be heard but they managed to turn it
around. Things were on the up thanks to Jo and Becca whose fielding was sublime and some nifty bowling
from Julie.
After a short break for food, more prosecco, of course, and the arrival of a few more OD supporters, game
number 3 got underway which was against the friendliest bunch of ladies of the night. The game was quite
close but some sensational catching by Becca helped turn the game and Nikki decided to finish off things in
style with a 6 straight onto the grass tennis courts! Unbelievable and the crowds went wild!
The team were looking for another victory in the last match, but the competition was fierce i.e. BromBecks
hockey players who were very young and fit! Winning the toss, the Old Bats decided to field first so that
they could have a total to chase!! However, the opposition decided they only wanted to score either 4s or
6s so a huge total was soon amassed. Becca decided to go for it aided by Jane but by now a few aches and
pains had begun to creep in and Rebecca H decided she needed a runner so up stepped Jo. When Jo took
a tumble whilst running for Rebecca, shouts of “the runner needs a runner” were heard from the crowd!
Great batting by Julie, Jo and Nikki was just not enough to get us over the finish line.
Due to a great team effort they won 2, lost 2 which was not a bad result for the evening! More prosecco
followed and a great time was had by all!
A big thank you to the supporters on the evening: Lizzy, Noah, Olly and Alex who hopefully weren’t too
embarrassed by their parents, to Paul for his inspirational words and to Richard for topping up the
prosecco.

WHO IS STAT?
The answer to last week’s “Who is Stat?” was Russell Newell. Try and guess who this player is:
STAT ATTACK
Worzel passed 4000 OD's runs and Batten passed 2000 runs
Thomas Howe's century was the 6th in 4th team history
Sawko needs 3 wickets for 50 OD scalps. He also loves the 358 bus.
Play cricket believes Aaron White has played either 299 or 300 games for ODs (depending on which page
you look at)
PICTURE OF THE WEEK
Lots of contenders for Picture of the week this week but this one pips it. Youngster Alex Davison made his 5th XI debut and took some key wickets. One of his scalps was his old school teacher from Oak Lodge. Thankfully his teacher took it very well, and was happy to pose for this photo after the game. This is what cricket is all about! Many thanks to Paul Davison for submitting this! Keep submitting your snaps to me for your chance to win photo of the week!

FANTASY LEAGUE UPDATE
Absolute carnage in Fantasy League this week but there is only one place to begin. New boy Thomas Howe
surprised us all by entering a team four weeks into the season. He then surprised us even more by backing
himself as triple captain and then finished by scoring a century on debut. In doing so he earned 987 points
which must be a record. Steve Sawko only scored one point less (no triple captain involved) by choosing
the 5 top run scorers of the day - incredible!
There were huge scores around especially in the batting section with Boyce, Parr, Anand and Tom all
breaking the 100 point barrier - Anand extending his lead at the top to over a hundred points. Four
bowlers scored over 60 points - Tej Patel (now top of the section), James Tinkler, Isaac Loader and Matti
Haidar while a big mention to three of the colts in the 5's here - Asa Smith (53), Noah De Vaux (46) and
Alex Davison (46) all scoring heavily. On a side note all of the colts in the 5's game v HSBC were selected by
at least one manager each - a great welcome to the club - with Jack McCarthy and Freddie Sweeting also
scoring positive points along with the established Kai Bennett!
In the all-rounder section it was business as usual for Batten - another stack of points earned - whilst Chris
Webster closed the gap on his bro with a score of 125 points to Dan's 82. The final section - the keepers -
was lit up by a stumping, two catches and 11 runs for Howard Smith and a weekly total of 46 points -
superb - though not enough to usurp Gaz Williamson at the section head.
I've no idea where to start with the league table - the difference between the lowest and highest scoring
teams was over 700 points so this was a week to separate the serious leaguers from the part timers.
Sawko is now top, with Chris Webster and Cameron Sanders close behind. Let’s hope for another batch of
wins and points this week - keep your eyes open for that all important team selection!

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JAMIE BATTEN – 167 points
Lots of competition for this accolade this week. But Jamie’s 86
runs, 3 wickets and a catch propelled him to the title of Player of
the week!
MANAGER OF THE WEEK
TOM HOWE – 987 points
Let me introduce Tom Howe to you. Joined the club, got his first
game in the fours. The night before he created his team
(Commitment) and made himself his triple captain. He then went
on to score a ton, gaining lots and lots of points for himself. The
rest of his team was also ‘serious’.
