I’ve had an absolutely fantastic summer! France in June with my family and the Azores in July and August, along with Soul Survivor has really made the fly time by! We’ve just started back up schools and youth groups in the last couple weeks, sogetting back in the groove has been challenging, but fun; I didn’t realizeI’d miss the young people so much.

Hi everyone, I’m Joe. I am eighteen and have a twin sister called Hannah. I’m passionate about seeing God cause a change in the culture of young people for him. I’m part of the year out scheme with Newmarket and District Youth for Christ. I grew up in a Christian home and have been going to church ever since I can remember. I realised I was a Chris tian after attending CHRISTIAN CAMPS in Wales' purple camp 2017. I can’t name exactly when God entered my heart but I was baptised on January7th, 2018. I attend Soham Baptist church. am involved with the youthgroups and worship - I sing and play guitar. As part of the Year Outprogramme I need to raise a total of £3000 in personal support, this willallow me to help show the youth of today Jesus Christ and spread thegospel to those who need it. It's good to be back after the summer holidays...Lessons and assemblies have been booked and allthe lunch clubs are up and running again! At theSoham Village College drop in, we have startedserving hot chocolate which I am really excited aboutbecause it means we get to sit down together and wehave such a great opportunity to really chat and get to know some ofthe young people. Thank you for your continued prayers and support- I hope to see lots of you at the Quiz Night on 26th!

Hi everyone, It seems like a while since we last wrote in the Prayer diary. We are getting back into the routine of school’s work with our lunch clubs in Soham and Milden hall starting back up. It’s been great catching up with the young people and hearing about all they got up to in the Summer. We had a good summer, of course one of the things we get involved with is being at Soul Survivor. Wehad a great group of young people who engaged with all the main meetings andactivities around the site; it was weird to think it would be last time the festi-vals would be running but it was privilege to be there and witness hundreds ofyoung people give their lives to Jesus.

A lot of you will now know that December will be my last month working forYouth For Christ. I have worked for Youth For Christ for 6 years now andloved my time here, I am moving on to work full time with High Street Church.I’m excited for the centre as I know God will bring in the right person in andwhoever that person is, I’m sure will bring a fresh perspective and energy tothe team.

Hi Folks, I am excited to be at the beginning ofanother academic year, with all that God hasplanned for us as a Centre! We have this termsassemblies booked for NA (Newmarket Academy),MCA (Mildenhall College Academy) and SVC (Soham VillageCollege). I have booked all the lessons this term forNA and I have spoken with SVC and am awaitingconfirmation of lessons. I am going into MCA to takea new lesson with a Yr10 group on RespectingPeoples Beliefs and Different Cultures'. It is

exciting how this term is ‘panning out’! We are planning for Alive 2020,the team have just ‘filmed’ a promotional Media clip for this and thebooking forms should be out soon. We are praying about which of 3festivals to take a group to next Summer, replacing Soul Survivor.Please pray that we ‘hear’ God regarding this decision! We will beholding interviews for the ‘Part time’ post that becomes available in Jan,PRAY that the Exec ‘hear the Lord’ regarding the next new team member.Thank you again for those who have been praying for Sara, she has nowentered the last phase of her breast cancer treatment. Mon to Fri daily RadioTherapy from Wed 25th Sept to Tues 15th Oct, prayer is needed. After thelatest tests and scans the Consultant told us that Sara has had a complete‘Pathological’ response, in my terms completely Clear. We thank God forall He and the medical teams have done!!!!
