It is said that objects in motion tend to stay in motion. This

statement describes Pilots - we are always moving toward

soemone in need, toward our goals, and toward making a

difference in peoples lives.

October is an active month for Pilot. Pilot International Founders

Day is October 18th; October is also Brain Awareness month, and

many of our sister clubs are promoting the awareness by having

Brain Power Walks. Our club is active this month as well, with our

Day of Caring and Initiation of New Anchor Members for all of

our Anchor Clubs on October 13th. We will also be attending the

Florida Pilot's Fall Council on October 26-28th.

It was my pleasure, to announce at the last meeting, that Missy

Ridgway was our Club's chosen 2012-2013 Pilot International

Sweetheart. This honor is fully earned by Missy's devotion to

Pilot and Anchor, and her continuous dedication to serve others in

all the other aspects of her life. Congratulations Missy!
