From the Executive Director
Hi Friends,
The Social has been buzzing with excitement lately. If you haven’t heard our fantastic news, we were
awarded the $500,00 grant for the renovation and expansion of our building! There is much work to be
done and money to be raised, but our number one priority is you - the members. This project will allow
The Social to better serve our membership by having larger rooms for activities, wider hallways, easier
access to restrooms, an advanced health and wellness center and much more. Having recently
received this exciting news, I don’t have a plethora of information for you...yet. I look forward to sharing
updates with you through our newsletter and Facebook page. If you have any questions, concerns or
want to know how you can help, please stop by my office for a chat!
You will see in this edition of the newsletter that we have a lot going on this Fall. You can support our
building fund by joining us at our famous Purse Bingo Fundraiser in November. All proceeds that
evening will directly support the construction phase of our project and we would love to have you there!
Now where did I put that hard hat?
Sincerely,
Andrea Sutherland
Executive Director
Attention: There will be no
classes on 10/17, 11/2 & 11/3
