Data Collection is an on-going process, 24/7.

As conditions develop/change throughout the duty day,

weather information is provided to the Garrison Commander for

decision.

Post Delay and Early Release Decision to delay/cancel the

duty day is made by 0415 hours.

Websites and hotlines are updated

NLT 0500 hours.

Decision for early release is made

During the duty day based on emerging

weather conditions.

Delay or early release is NOT based

on School delays.

All available data/forecasts support

decisions making process.

This is not an exact science

When in doubt use your best judgment.

IMPACT TO SERVICES:

Child Care Facilities Delay: Facilities open one hour before

report time.

Early

Release: Facilities close one hour after

release time.

Commissary Delay: Will open as scheduled, in the

event of delayed reporting, provided

the base is completely open by 0900

hours.
