International Fog’s First Attack Nozzles™

Available for Use and Demonstration at the Fire Science Academy

International Fog Inc., held a class Monday October 18, 2010 at the Fire

Science Academy campus, where FSA Instructors were trained on the use of

the IFI First Attack Nozzle™. The nozzle is now available for use or

demonstrations during fire field training at the FSA Carlin, Nevada campus.

The IFI First Attack Nozzle™ is a one-of-a-kind, innovative firefighting

nozzle. It generates a unique and specific fog pattern that expands the heat

barrier, and protects the firefighter by reducing the heat by 85%. A water-

bearing is created by the spinning rotor and the rotor head which is

interchangeable from a bull nose tip to a piercing tip, allowing immediate

access through brick, wood, aluminum, etc. One firefighter has the

capability to operate the nozzle because of quick deployment "no settings"

and there is minimum back pressure even with 300 PSI. IFI First Attack

Nozzles™ were designed for cross-lays and pre-connects for quick

deployment.

Eugene Ivy, CEO of IFI and a 16 year veteran of the Port Arthur Fire

Department in Texas, is the inventor and patent holder of the technology

behind the First Attack Nozzle™ and Industrial Containment System ™.

Eugene created the IFI First Attack Nozzle™ and Industrial Containment

System ™ to protect firefighters from drastic and prolonged exposure to

heat.

On August 4, 2010, an IFI Industrial Containment System ™ was

permanently installed on the FSA drill field. The containment system is

available for training evolutions or demonstration. For more information on

the full IFI product line, please visit http://www.in-fog.com/index.php
