T he Motul Petit Le Mans weekend promises no shortage of action, as on-track activity begins on Wednesday of race week and doesn’t let up until the checkered

flag falls on the 10-hour IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. In addition to the featured 10-hour enduro on Saturday, the FOX Factory 120 on Friday and plenty of other racing action throughout the four days will keep fans excited.

The iconic Motul Petit Le Mans is a team, driver and manufacturer showdown, where fans can see

Corvette, BMW, Audi, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes AMG and more fighting to the finish under the stars. Although the captivating on-track activity is the main story of the weekend, there is plenty more to see and do at Motul Petit Le Mans! The family-friendly environment begins the moment you come through the front gates, as kids 12 and under always enter free. The Fan Zone in the infield is full of interactive displays, great shopping and dining and entertainment to keep you busy. Car corrals containing some of the most well-loved manufacturers, including Porsche and Corvette, spread throughout the property, giving fans lots of eye candy

DAYTONA PROTOTYPE INTERNATIONAL (DPI) The fastest and most technologically advanced sports cars in North America, the Daytona Prototype International (DPi) is specifically designed and engineered for the race track. DPi cars use chassis built to international specifications powered by engines from mainstream automotive manufacturers like Acura, Cadillac, and Mazda. In addition, DPi bodywork includes styling cues that align with these engine manufacturers.

LE MANS PROTOTYPE 2 (LMP2) The Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) is a closed cockpit car developed by four approved constructors. In addition to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, LMP2 cars are eligible to compete in other global series such as the FIA World Endurance Championship, which includes the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.

GT LE MANS (GTLM)Utilizing the same technical regulations as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the GTLM cars are the most elite and fastest GT cars on the track. Based on production models, they are engineered to extract the maximum performance possible. The class serves as a true proving ground for leading manufacturers such as BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, and Porsche.

GT DAYTONA (GTD)The GT Daytona cars are enhanced (not defined by) technology and utilize the global FIA-GT3 specification. The GTD class consists of cars from leading manufacturers such as Acura, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE PACKED FULL OF ACTIONThe 10-hour Motul Petit Le Mans on Saturday, Oc-tober 17th is certainly the feature of the weekend schedule, but there is plenty of additional racing ac-tion to enjoy in between IMSA WeatherTech Sports-

Car Championship sessions! Beginning on Wednesday and culmi-nating on Friday with the FOX Factory 120, fans can experience three additional series of unique racing. The FOX Factory 120 on Friday afternoon showcases the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, while the IMSA Prototype Challenge and the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama will also be competing for victory at the Motul Petit Le Mans event weekend. These series offer fans a different kind of racing to appreciate – the action is non-stop at the 23rd Annual Motul Petit Le Mans!
