AssociationofOrangeCountysannualbusiness
expowithmorethan500leadersintheAsian
Americancommunity.OCTAledworkshopsandwas
featuredasthekeynotespeakerattheevent.
Results
OCTAdevelopedcloseworkingrelationshipswith
numerousgroupsincludingAmericanIndian,Asian
Americanandwomensgroups,Rotaryclubsandfaith-basedorganizations.OCTAreachedouttomorethan200
organizationsandfocusedon21organizationstogain
deeperinsightsfortheoutreachplan.
TheAsianBusinessAssociationofOrangeCountyalso
recognizedOCTAwithitsCorporateExcellenceAward
forOCTAscontributiontotheAsianAmericanbusiness
community.Morethan300businessprofessionals
attendedtheDecemberawardsgala.
OCTABusinessRelationsAdministratorBekeleDemissieworkedwith
consultantstodevelopaprogramthatwouldenhanceoutreachefforts
withthediversecommunitiesinOrangeCounty.
