“Team Wall” showed its true spirit of teamwork at the Fall Festival. I was truly in awe of all it takes to put on such a large event and was so proud to be a part of it and work by your side for the greater glory of God. Thank you so much for supporting St. Ambrose/Holy Family Church with your time, talent and treasure. Your dedication to the parish & mission was seen by all who came to share this happy day. You showed through your hard work how much you care about the church and it was very meaningful to me to see your love of the Fall Festival manifested through your generous gifts. We are truly blessed here in this place sharing at the “Table of Plenty.” ~Fr. Chinna

THANK YOU’S: Bishop Pfeifer has sent a note of thanks to all of the ladies who helped prepare cookies for the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Diocese.
He noted that there were only a few left at the end, and that “the parishioners make delicious cookies!”
We still have many copies of the Diocesan 50th Anniversary book on hand. This is a beautifully done book and is not only a great souvenir of our Diocesan 50th Anniversary but an excellent history of the Diocese and its many parishes and missions. The book has many beautiful pictures of our parishes and missions and those who have served us so faithfully for the past 50 years. Call the Parish Office. $20. Deadline: Nov. 11.

YOUTH CORNER Good Food; Great Fun; Awesome Community! Seeing you
students working so hard during the festival makes a Youth Director proud. I know it
makes your parents proud! Way to go guys! Tuesday night Phyllis and I experienced
our 1st, of many, monthly “XLT Worship Gathering” at Sacred Heart Cathedral. What an experi-
ence. This is something you just have to see for yourself. To be able to set aside time for praise and
worship and Exalting our Lord Jesus is the MOST rewarding event I can say I’ve been to recently.
Our next gathering will be Tuesday, November 29, 2011, beginning at 7:00 pm. The host parish will
be announced at a later date. We are working on details for the High School Youth Group’s House
Painting Project, which will get under way on Saturday, November 19th. Please be watching for de-
tails. We will not be having the donut receptions after Mass as originally discussed. Please make a
note that future “donut receptions” have been canceled. As always, if you have any questions or
comments, please feel free to contact us. May the peace of Christ be with you all.
~ Dcn Dan and Phyllis
Key Passage: Jesus said, “Therefore, do whatever they teach you and follow it; but do not do as they do, for they do not practice what they teach.” (Matthew 23:3)
Adult: Is there an area of your life in which you sometimes feel like a hypocrite?
Child: Why is it important for you to live according to how you believe?

Choir. Rehearsals will be on Nov. 6th and Nov. 12th at 6:30 pm at the Wall Brethren Church.
Our 72nd Festival was a Table of Plenty! God did provide us with beautiful weather, hardworking people and a festive day. Thanks to all who filled our table by graciously stepping up and filling in open shifts. Thanks to our veteran mentors who gave us support, guidance and hugs throughout. An extra special thanks to all of those who helped with Mini Clean-up, Saturday Clean-up, Sausage Saturday, Monday Clean-up and those who served as Committee Chairpersons. To our Parish Pastoral Council, we love and appreciate all of your hard work and dedication! A great big thank you to our amazing families who were a huge support and help during our many hours of festival planning. As Father Chinna quoted in his ser-mon on Monday: “Be thankful to God. Be grateful to God. Be thankful to one another. Be grateful to one another.” Thanks to all! The Festival Chairladies: Jodie, Brandi, Kathy, Connie and Shanda
