The Fogmaster Sentinel 5855 (and 5856) systems employs one or more Sentinel nozzles attached to a low pressure air manifold to atomize a liquid into small droplets. Nozzles can be pipe-mounted or hose-mounted. The controller, with several control options, regulates fogging activity. These include a one-shot countdown timer, programmable 7-day timer and repeating cycle timer; humidity sensor/controller; or customer-supplied external device - anything that can close a switch (manual, contact, PLC, process controller, etc.).

The Sentinel nozzle creates a highly turbulent zone, dices liquid into droplets, and ejects them as a fast moving fog plume. Droplet size is adjustable, from less than 5 microns VMD to more than 40 microns. This method ["cold fogging"] does not require high pressures, small orifices or hot surfaces for atomizing liquid. It works with both water- and oil-based liquids, and can fog suspended solids in a liquid carrier. Since it has no small orifices, the nozzle is not susceptible to plugging. Nozzles are available in several materials. The standard nozzle contains Celcon acetyl copolymer elements; for strong oxidizers, such as hydrogen peroxide and glutaraldehyde, the HPDE nozzle is preferred; and for high temperature applications or erosive materials, 316 stainless steel is the material of choice.

Odor neutralizing chemicals or other liquid additives that need to be fumigated for large indoor/outdoor applications is the job for ORSM. The compact design features an 18 gallon tank, ideal for demonstrations and short-term jobs. ORSM also features connections ports for permanent installations. For continuous duty operation, ORSM can be directly connected to a metering pump that would supply a precise amount of concentrated chemical to the unit. This concentrate would enter the main plumbing supply line at the back of the ORSM and would get mixed together with a never ending supply of fresh water controlled by a flow control valve. Fogging at an Affordable Price: The Fogmaster Pow-R-Jet Plus Drum Mount (DM) 6428 is mechanically identical to the durable 6329 DM model, but includes a one-turn control valve so you can vary liquid output (0-9 oz/min) and droplet size from an intermediate fog to a heavy wet mist. Higher flows produce larger droplets. The dispensing rate can be calibrated in the field so you can adjust the output for various fogging liquids, viscosities, and densities.

As a "cold" fogger, using turbulence to shear liquid into small droplets, the Pow-R-Jet Plus DM handles both water- and oil-based liquids without the use of high pressure or heat. The remote discharge of the Sewer-Jet Drum Mount 4180 makes it ideal for odor control in hard-to-reach locations. Its tiny fog particles, with their vast surface area for efficient gas contact, provide high removal rates at low chemical cost. A municipal two (2) million gallon per day EQ tank from a septage receving facility. Problem: Thick standing fats, oils, and greases (F.O.G.) creates nuisance odor. At the time the before photo was taken (early February of 2014), the tank was drained every night, and the F.O.G. accumlated to the point where bio-remediation proved to be the only cost eective, safe, and feasible option for clearing the tank as well as decreasing odors. Evogen municipal F.O.G. product was dosed into the tank at a shock dose rate of 26-0.5 pound micro-solve water soluble pouches per day for 4-5 weeks. After photo was taken in June of 2014, and shows a remarkable clearing of the F.O.G. To date, the project cost is approx. $8,200.00. The tank length is 120. Operators simply tossed the biologicals into the tank from the walk way along the length of the tank to provide equal distribution of the product. Now, only maintenance doses are required to keep the tank clear. Maintenance doses can be as low as 5-10 pouches per day. Bioremediation of F.O.G. provides tank clearing without the use of VAC-CON trucks or expensive equipment to move the prob-lem from one jobsite to another, such as from a W.W.T.P. to a landll. Solvents and surfactants would act in the same manner moving the F.O.G. from one location to another. Additionally, bio-remediation creates no environmental risks, and the by-products are simply carbon dioxide and water.

The Dramm ColdFogger is a low-volume chemical applicator that can easily apply all formulations of pes-ticides, growth retardants, fungicides, vaccines, cleaning products and disinfectants using a highly concentrated spray solution. The low-volume method of applying chemical solutions utilized in the ColdFogger diminish-es costly run-off and greatly reduces application times. Very small spray droplets are generated to provide deep and even penetration of chemicals.

The 72 liter (20 gallon) chemical tank with built in agi-tator pump holds enough spray solution to provide up to 72,000 square feet of coverage in as little as 72 min-utes. The powerful high pressure fog projects a plume of 30 - 60 micron diameter spray droplets 20 - 25 feet from the hand held spray-gun. The quality of spray is a

tremendous improvement over conventional hydraulic sprayers that produce droplets that vary in size from 200 to 1,000 microns in average diameter.

The built-in hose reel conveniently stores 150 feet of high pressure discharge hose. (Additional hose lengths are available) The spray gun is attached to the dis-charge hose with a quick disconnect coupling. This al-lows the operator easy hose recovery without damag-ing the spray gun.

Sentinel 5855

The Sentinel 5855 system has three main components:

A nozzle generates a tornado of turbulent air that chops liquid into small droplets and ejects them as a far-reaching plume. Droplet size is adjust-ed by changing the liquid flow rate. With a low working pressure [air at 3 psi], piping is inexpensive and installation simple.

The patented nozzle has no small orifices and isn't sensitive to solids. If deposits do accumulate on the nozzle, atomization performance may degrade somewhat but you can continue operating until it's convenient to clean the nozzle. Disconnect the hose or union fitting, and wash deposits off. You can also immerse the nozzle in CLR or Lime-Away to dissolve deposits.

A regenerative blower supplies atomization air to the nozzle(s). Blower size depends on the number of nozzles, starting at 0.67 Hp for a 1-nozzle system. The standard 5855 uses a 1.1 Hp blower which supports two nozzles.

A control unit manages blower operation (on-off, and intake filter condition) and fog droplet size. Each nozzle has its own flow control valve and flowmeter to set droplet size.

The Sentinel 5855 has modest liquid pressure demands [less than 10 psi] and can atomize fogging liquids supplied by a pump (centrifugal, diaphragm, piston or peristaltic type); house (city) water; a proportional injector (for in-line dilution); or an elevated tank (gravity feed).

Control options are equally diverse: "one-shot" (countdown) or repeating cycle timer; 7-day clock with up to eight application events; odor sensor; humidity sensor; or user-supplied PLC (or any device able to close a switch. Specify the optional "external" port.)
