MOA - 2002MOA - 2002Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOA) between the Department of State of the United States of America, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), representing the National Response Team (NRT), and the Autoridad del Canal de Panamá (Panama Canal Authority) (hereafter “ACP”) of the Republic of Panama there exists a relationship to ensure that any significant pollution incident in the waters of the Panama Canal that may threaten to hinder operation be combated in a safe and expeditious manner.
Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOA) between the Department of State of the United States of America, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), representing the National Response Team (NRT), and the Autoridad del Canal de Panamá (Panama Canal Authority) (hereafter “ACP”) of the Republic of Panama there exists a relationship to ensure that any significant pollution incident in the waters of the Panama Canal that may threaten to hinder operation be combated in a safe and expeditious manner.
