Induction for New Employees
Your supervisor, George Clooney, will manage your induction. Ask any questions of him except those about his recent marriage to brilliant lawyer, Amal.
You will be personally introduced to the team shortly.
George will also show you around the building so you know where everything is.
A map will be included of the building in your Induction Pack as well a chart showing Who’s Who in the business.
George will explain day to day requirements of the job, hours you will work, meal breaks and daily logistics.

Ewan and Colin will do a separate OHS presentation for you explaining matters such as correct posture, keyboard use and other OHS practices used in our company.
FYI, Colin doesn’t like talking about Pride and Prejudice and just wants to be known for taking OHS seriously.
So do we.

Reporting workplace OHS incidents and store these on a safe, central database
Recording injuries caused in these incidents
Getting regular feedback from employments about unsafe features of the business; equipment and/or the building itself
Conducting regular risk assessments and work out how you would deal with the most serious OHS risks and formulate a plan
Educating employees about how to avoid injury at work
Ensuring all equipment is correctly and regularly maintained.
Safety representatives meet regularly with staff and senior management to discuss important OHS issues and fix problems
Our procedure for controlling risks
![Page 10: Occupational Health and Safety Powerpoint Presentation](https://reader031.vdocuments.mx/reader031/viewer/2022020721/55a09daf1a28ab5b6a8b4824/html5/thumbnails/10.jpg)
Our process for consulting about OH&S issues
Our safety representatives, Ewan McGregor and Colin Firth, meet weekly with all employees and senior
management.
It’s a chance for people to share information about safety concerns at work
The information from staff is relayed to senior management and an action plan is developed as a priority.
Senior management will come back to staff with the response to the OHS concerns identified
All this information is stored on a central database
![Page 11: Occupational Health and Safety Powerpoint Presentation](https://reader031.vdocuments.mx/reader031/viewer/2022020721/55a09daf1a28ab5b6a8b4824/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
Procedure for reporting risks and incidents
Employees report risks and incidents by filling out a form available from reception. This is given to our company’s Safety Representatives
The information and responses are stored on a central database.
As well as filling out this form, the employee must advise their direct supervisor of the risk/incident.
Safety Representatives take the matter to senior management to ensure it is fully investigated.
Outcome of investigation is reported back to staff as a priority and the response to the incident will be reviewed to see how it could have been dealt with better.
![Page 12: Occupational Health and Safety Powerpoint Presentation](https://reader031.vdocuments.mx/reader031/viewer/2022020721/55a09daf1a28ab5b6a8b4824/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
How we discuss OHS issues
Report the incident to your supervisor and safety advisor and tell colleagues.
Every week we discuss these issues during our staff meetings
If you have a suggestion for how we can deal with an OHS issue more effectively, tell the Safety Reps
If you are still dissatisfied with how a matter has been dealt with, you are welcome to discuss it with Senior Management
