James Lawrenzi, DO, who has two clinics in Garden City and Archie, Missouri, appeared on the Alex Jones Show to warn that the true scale of the situa-

tion was being deliberately downplayed. It is important to note that none of these potential Ebola outbreaks occurred at the clinics in which Lawrenzi works.

Lawrenzi said that shortly after the arrival of patient zero – Thomas Eric Duncan – in the United States, he was told by a doctor at Truman Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City they had taken in a possible Ebola patient who had a high fever and was bleeding out of all his orifices having recently returned from West Africa.

The following day, Lawrenzi was told by the doctor that the patient had “dis-appeared” against medical advice, but that he wouldn’t have been able to leave on his own given his medical condition.

The day after the patient disappeared, a meeting was called for anyone who had contact with the patient. Doctors and other medical workers were told that the patient had malaria. Lawrenzi also revealed that drug reps from within the area warned over additional possi-ble Ebola cases in the area.

A second possible Ebola patient was then admitted to Research Medical

Center in Kansas City the following day but also quickly “disappeared,” with hospital bosses claiming he had typhoid, according to Lawrenzi.

“These patients are disappearing, they’re doing something with the patients and God knows where they’re going,” said the doctor.

Asked why authorities were engaged in an apparent cover-up, Lawrenzi spec-ulated that the CDC was attempting to prevent hysteria, noting that workers at his own clinics had been told not to use the word “Ebola,” just as 911 dis-patchers in New York have been banned from using the term, or to reveal any information about a possible Ebola case.

Lawrenzi also revealed that Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), a pri-vate operator of health care facilities, had earlier this week removed protec-tive gear and Hazmat suits from local hospitals without replacing it.

“They were told this was so they could have continuity of care for possible Ebola patients,” said Lawrenzi, adding that the real reason was that authorities didn’t want to cause a panic by having medical workers and doctors being seen in protective gear.

Urging people to “stay away from places where there’s large groups of people,” as well as hospitals, Lawrenzi

said the situation was “much more seri-ous than they’re letting on.”

“When flu season hits, people are going to be coming into the hospital for flu or Ebola, they’re not going to know what they have….it’s going to be a nightmare, every doctor I’ve spoken with is terrified of this fall,” said Lawrenzi.

“They’re preparing for something,” he added, speculating that the endgame could be medical martial law or the Obama administration’s complete take-over of the medical system.

Lawrenzi’s assertion that Ebola patients are being “disappeared” cor-relates with claims made by 27-year Border Patrol veteran Zach Taylor, who told Infowars that possible Ebola victims attempting to cross the border were also being secretly detained.

According to Infowars medical corre-spondent Dr. Edward Group, the Cen-ters for Disease Control and Prevention is responding to only half the calls it is receiving from doctors reporting Ebo-la-like symptoms in patients. Dr. Group also talked with other health profes-sionals and border patrol sources who confirmed that potential Ebola victims were being “disappeared” in an attempt to prevent panic.

He called for patience and a sense of perspective. He said the government is in control of the situation, the AFP reports.

“This is a serious disease, but we can’t give in to hysteria or fear — because that only makes it harder to get people the accurate information they need. We have to be guided by the science. We have to remember the basic facts,” he lectured. He said if the government takes “the steps that are necessary, if we’re guided by the science — the facts, not fear — then I am absolutely confident that we can prevent a serious outbreak here in the United States, and we can continue to lead the world in this urgent effort.”Preventing flights arriving from West Africa, however, will not be one of the necessary steps.“Trying to seal off an entire region of the world — if that were even possi-ble — could actually make the situa-tion worse… Experience shows that it could also cause people in the affected region to change their travel, to evade screening, and make the disease even harder to track.”

As for hysteria, this is amplified by the media. The corporate owned and government controlled media dwells on the CDC and the idea the state can actually do something about the dis-ease. For statists, the disease is another excuse for government intervention in the lives of ordinary citizens.“Disease pandemics are a dream come true for central planners,” writes Ryan McMaken. “Hysterical over possible contagion, citizens clamor for govern-ment action, government quarantines, government coercion, and government planning. In these cases, large numbers of people want government to do what government does best: seize people and property, coerce, issue orders, and spend lots of money.”McMaken notes the repeated and systematic failures of government when dealing with possible pandemic diseases – mishandling anthrax, cross-contaminated bird flu, and the dangerous practice of routinely send-ing out contaminated samples across the country.Obama’s promise that government will save us is patently false. “Moreover, a more long-term view of the history of

disease prevention does not present much of an impeachable case for gov-ernment intervention. Indeed, govern-ments excel at creating the conditions that enhance the spread of disease, as they did with the Spanish flu in the aftermath of World War I.”The CDC and the National Institutes of Health, of course, are not about to take responsibility for their role in spread-ing the disease. Bureaucrats claim the bungled response is due to budget restraints.“Frankly, if we had not gone through our 10-year slide in research support, we probably would have had a vaccine

in time for this that would’ve gone through clinical trials and would have been ready,” National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins said last week.Contrary to the lamentations of bureaucrats, budgetary restraints did not stop the flow of confiscated money to the CDC.“Top public health officials have col-lected $25 million in bonuses since 2007, carving out extra pay for them-selves in tight federal budgetary times while blaming a lack of money for the Obama administration’s lackluster response to the Ebola outbreak,” writes

Page 14: Obola Tyranny Is The Disease 26th Issue Infowars Magazine

Kelly Riddell for The Washington Times.“U.S. taxpayers gave $6 billion in sal-aries and $25 million in bonuses to an elite corps of health care specialists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since 2007,” she writes. And yet these “health care specialists” are unable to implement protocols to handle Ebola patients and protect hos-pital staff.Once again, the lesson is clear. Gov-ernment is a parasitical and predatory beast that preys on the real producers in society. It cannot respond to disease pandemics, natural disasters, and other catastrophic events requiring coor-dinated effort. It invariably exploits these situations to further secure its authority and enrich its partners.“Folks, this is deja vu all over again. This administration is using this crisis to profit from it and, quite possibly, award no-bid contracts to their friends,” writes Jack Perry. “I now deeply suspect the CDC bungling in Dallas was inten-tional, not mere incompetence. They are manufacturing a crisis in order to not only build more government agen-cies with potentially unlimited power, but also so that certain corporations in bed with them can profit from it.”This is the history of government – manufactured crises, false flag wars and other staged events to benefit corporate partners, the real recipients of service provided by the largesse extracted from a befuddled, largely brainwashed and fearsome American public.

the right is forging a “plan to sweep the midterms” by fanning the flames of racist fears over Ebola, ISIS and the porous southern border. The fact that it was National Border Patrol Council spokesman Chris Cabrera who earlier this week sounded the alarm over hun-dreds of illegal aliens from Ebola hot zones like Liberia crossing the border is not mentioned in the piece.

The attempt to diffuse any criticism of Obama by playing the race card is by no means a new phenomenon, and has been utilized innumerable times over the years to demonize opposing voices.

The situation bears some resemblance to a previous controversy when some denounced posters depicting Obama as the Joker out of Batman as racist despite the fact that an almost identical image was used to lampoon George W. Bush, in addition to the author of the Obama Joker posters being a politically inde-pendent Muslim-American.

MSNBC host Carlos Watson went fur-ther, wondering aloud whether the word “socialist” was “becoming a code word, whether or not socialist is becoming the new n-word for some angry upset birthers and others.”

liberal journalists are now claiming that Americans who use the term #Obola are racist and xenophobic, continuing the trend whereby any criti-

cism of President Obama is hastily char-acterized as a racial slur.

In an article for the Verge entitled Ebola panic is getting pretty racist, fem-inist journalist Arielle Duhaime-Ross blames Dinesh D’Souza and Michael Savage for popularizing the hashtag #Obola as a “racist xenophobic….banner to rally around,” despite the fact that the meme patently represents a witty encapsulation of what many see as the federal government’s botched response to the Ebola outbreak and the failure to block flights from West Africa in the name of political correctness.

Duhaime-Ross argues that “white privilege….is floating to the surface” in the aftermath of the Ebola outbreak, a theme mimicked by Rev. Jesse Jackson who this week blamed “white privilege” for Ebola victim Thomas Duncan not getting the treatment he needed.

Vox’s Dylan Matthews also accuses Dinesh D’Souza of taking on a “con-spiratorial, hyperbolic tone” after the conservative activist asked his Twitter followers, “Which is worse: EBOLA, the disease; or OBOLA, the dream from his father?”

Meanwhile, Salon.com ties together a grand Ebola conspiracy, alleging that

Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Michael Jelenik says he’s troubled by the circumstances surround-ing Dallas Presbyterian Hospital nurse Nina Pham’s contraction of

the Ebola virus.Pham, 26, was one of a team of med-ical staff tending to Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan before his death.Texas health officials announced Pham had tested positive for the Ebola virus, even though she was careful to wear protective gear when she came in con-tact with the infected patient. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claims a “breach in proto-col” may have contributed to the dis-ease spread, however Dr. Jelinek says Ebola research is still in its infancy and therefore the chance that it has possibly mutated cannot entirely be ruled out.“My biggest concern is that we don’t have enough knowledge about the virus and this outbreak and whether it’s mutated or not,” Dr. Jelinek told ABC affiliate KRGV, echoing anxieties voiced by other high level health pro-fessionals.The doctor adds that from an infectious disease standpoint, Ebola is still a bit of a mystery.

“We know how to stop the transmission of HIV, that’s very simple. We know how to stop the transmission of influ-enza, that’s also very simple, but I don’t think it’s been fully defined how to stop the transmission of Ebola,” Jelinek says.Like many Americans, Jelinek says he’s not placing complete faith in the assurances of “powers that be” govern-ment officials who are merely working to suppress public panic.“I just kind of object to the powers that be telling us, ‘Well we don’t need to worry about this because we have it all under control,’” Jelinek says. “Well, under control means nobody else is gonna get it.”Speaking to the chance that illegal immigrants from Ebola-stricken coun-tries may penetrate the southern US border with Mexico, Dr. Jelinek did not completely rule out the possibility of an outbreak impacting the Rio Grande Valley, but instead labeled that risk “extremely small.”Earlier this month, a health official with the United Nations raised the “doomsday” prospect that the virus could possibly mutate to have infec-tious airborne properties, an unlikely “nightmare scenario” which he said

“can’t be ruled out.”Another health professional also came forward with the startling claim that Ebola was “primed to have respiratory transmission.”“It can enter the lung from the airway side,” Associate Professor of Biological Sciences at Purdue University Dr. David Sanders said. “So this argues that Ebola is primed to have respiratory transmis-sion.”“We need to be taking this into con-sideration,” Sanders added. “What if? This is not a crazy, ‘What if?’ This is not a wild, ‘What if?’”Fears of an airborne mutation are exac-erbated by a previous mutated Ebola strain in a Reston, Va., medical lab in 1989, where researchers had to eutha-nize over 55 monkeys each being held in separate cages after they contracted the disease, proving that infection did not require direct contact with contam-inated bodily fluids.Despite attempts by federal officials to tamp down speculation, the fact that numerous health professionals are now raising concerns over a potential air-borne spread should be of great con-cern to the general public.

after successfully expos-ing monkeys to airborne Ebola, which “caused a rapidly fatal disease in 4-5 days,” scientists with

the U.S. Army Medical Research Insti-tute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) concluded Ebola can spread through air but likely hasn’t in Equatorial Africa because the region is too warm, with temperatures rarely dropping below 65°F.

“We… demonstrated aerosol transmis-sion of Ebola virus at lower temperature and humidity than that normally present in sub-Saharan Africa,” the 1995 study entitled Lethal Experimental Infections of Rhesus Monkeys by Aerosolized Ebola Virus reported. “Ebola virus sensitivity to the high temperatures and humidity in the thatched, mud, and wattle huts shared by infected family members in southern Sudan and northern Zaire may have been a factor limiting aerosol transmission of Ebola virus in the Afri-can epidemics.”

“Both elevated temperature and rel-ative humidity have been shown to reduce the aerosol stability of viruses.”

The study also referred to the 1989 Ebola outbreak at a primate quarantine facility in Reston, Va., in which the virus rapidly spread between unconnected rooms.

“While infections in adjacent cages

may have occurred by droplet contact, infections in distant cages suggests aerosol transmission, as evidence of direct physical contact with an infected source could not be established,” the study added.

It is interesting to note this outbreak occurred in December 1989, when tem-peratures in Reston were usually below freezing, and it’s unlikely the indoor temperature in the vast quarantine facil-ity was much higher.

A 2012 study also by the USAMRIID,

which exposed monkeys to an airborne filovirus similar to Ebola, reached a sim-ilar conclusion to the 1995 study.

“There is no strong evidence of second-ary transmission by the aerosol route in African filovirus outbreaks; however, aerosol transmission is thought to be possible and may occur in conditions of lower temperature and humidity which may not have been factors in outbreaks in warmer climates,” the study enti-tled A Characterization of Aerosolized Sudan Virus Infection in African Green Monkeys, Cynomologus Macaques and Rhesus Macaques stated. The study

pointed out that filoviruses, which include Ebola and the Sudan virus used in this particular study, have stability in aerosol form comparable to influenza.

“Filoviruses in aerosol form are there-fore considered a possible, serious threat to the health and safety of the public,” it added.

And the Pentagon took this threat of airborne filoviruses so seriously that it organized a Filovirus Medical Counter-measures Workshop with the Depart-ment of Health and Human Services in 2013.

“The DoD seeks a trivalent filovirus vaccine that is effective against aerosol exposure and protective against filovirus disease for at least one year,” the exec-

utive summary of the workshop stated. The Pentagon’s concern with airborne

Ebola runs contrary to health officials who claim the disease can’t spread through coughing and sneezing, but according to the Army studies, that may only be true in tropical climates.

“How much airborne transmission will occur will be a function of how well Ebola induces coughing and sneezing in its victims in cold weather climates,” the web site potlblog.com suggested. “Coughing and nasal bleeding are both reported symptoms in Africa, so the worst should be expected.”

If there is a major Ebola pandemic in America, all of the liberties and the freedoms that you currently enjoy would be gone. If govern-ment officials believe that you

have the virus, federal law allows them to round you up and detain you “for such time and in such manner as may be reasonably necessary.” In addition, the CDC already has the authority to quarantine healthy Americans if they reasonably believe that they may become sick. During an outbreak, the government can force you to remain isolated in your own home, or the government may forcibly take you to a treatment facility, a tent city, a sports stadium, an old military base or a camp. You would not have any choice in the matter. And you would be forced to endure any medical pro-cedure mandated by the government. That includes shots, vaccines and the drawing of blood. During such a scenario, you can scream about your “rights” all that you want, but it won’t

do any good.In case you are tempted to think that I am making this up, I want you to read what federal law actually says. The following is 42 U.S.C. 264(d). I have added bold for emphasis…(1) Regulations prescribed under this section may provide for the apprehen-sion and examination of any individual reasonably believed to be infected with a communicable disease in a qualifying stage and (A) to be moving or about to move from a State to another State; or (B) to be a probable source of infec-tion to individuals who, while infected with such disease in a qualifying stage, will be moving from a State to another State. Such regulations may provide that if upon examination any such indi-vidual is found to be infected, he may be detained for such time and in such manner as may be reasonably neces-sary. For purposes of this subsection, the term “State” includes, in addition to the several States, only the District of Columbia.

2) For purposes of this subsection, the term “qualifying stage”, with respect to a communicable disease, means that such disease—(A) is in a communicable stage; or(B) is in a precommunicable stage, if the disease would be likely to cause a public health emergency if transmitted to other individuals. In addition, as I discussed above, the CDC already has the authority to isolate people that are not sick to see if they do become sick. The following is what the CDC website says about this…Quarantine is used to separate and restrict the movement of well persons who may have been exposed to a communicable disease to see if they become ill. These people may have been exposed to a disease and do not know it, or they may have the disease but do not show symptoms. Quaran-tine can also help limit the spread of communicable disease. If thousands (or even millions) of cases start popping up it simply will

not be possible for law enforcement authorities to monitor so many homes. This is a point that Mike Adams of Natural News made exceptionally well…When just one family is suspected of carrying Ebola, they can be easily monitored in a “volunteer home isolation” scenario. But what happens when it’s 100 families? 500? 1,000? At that point, there aren’t enough state or federal workers to keep an eye on these people, and the quarantine effort will almost certainly shift to forced relocation into quarantine camps. Those camps will, of course, be called something nice-sounding like “Community Health Centers.” No one in government or media will call them camps, even though they are camps. The word “camp” brings up echoes of “concentration camps” and the government definitely wants to avoid that association. If one particular town or city is hit especially hard with the virus, there is a like-lihood of the entire town being quarantined. No one in, no one out. Everybody will be ordered to “shelter in place” in their own homes for at least 21 days while health workers wearing hazmat suits go door to door, identifying Ebola victims and “relocating” them to the “Community Health Centers.”If that sounds like “martial law” to you, that is because it would essentially be martial law.

For the moment, public health author-ities are pledging that nothing like this will ever happen because they have everything completely under control.Others are not so sure. For example, a doctor from Missouri named Gil Mobley checked in for a flight at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport dressed in a mask, goggles, gloves, boots and a protective white jumpsuit. On the back of the jumpsuit, he had written the following words: “CDC is lying!”Mobley believes that we are not being told the truth about the spread of Ebola. And he is convinced that as Ebola con-tinues to spread exponentially, that we will eventually “be importing clusters of Ebola on a daily basis”…“Once this disease consumes every third world country, as surely it will, because they lack the same basic infra-structure as Sierra Leone and Liberia, at that point, we will be importing clus-ters of Ebola on a daily basis,” Mobley predicted. “That will overwhelm any advanced country’s ability to contain the clusters in isolation and quaran-tine. That spells bad news.”Mobley, a Medical College of Georgia graduate who had an overnight lay-over after flying to Atlanta from Gua-temala , said that he feels that the CDC is “asleep at the wheel” when it comes to screening passengers arriving in the United States from other countries.“Yesterday, I came through interna-tional customs at the Atlanta airport,” the doctor told The Atlanta Jour-nal-Constitution. “The only question they asked arriving passengers is if they had tobacco or alcohol.”Earlier on Thursday, there were reports of people being tested for Ebola in Hawaii, Kentucky and Utah. None of those tests has produced a confirmed case of Ebola as I write this article. Many Americans are still treating this Ebola crisis as if it was just one big joke.

But Ebola is no joking matter. This is a very, very serious disease.Just consider the experience of one British health worker that witnessed a young brother and sister both die one day apart…‘The next morning I came in and saw him lying as I had left him, on the bed.‘He wasn’t breathing. I remember going up to him and looking at his face, his lips were drawn back in a grimace, and his eyes were vacant, lying in a pool of his own diarrhea.‘I lifted his hand to try, just to confirm things and his whole body turned rigid and cold.‘I put him in a body bag as his sister looked on.‘She seemed more baffled than any-thing, not really understanding what was happening. I carried his corpse outside with the others.‘The little girl, she deteriorated the next day. Overnight, the following night she had intravenous fluids and the line came out and she bled.‘I came in the following morning and she was covered in blood. She still had a very puzzled expression on her face and she wasn’t breathing.‘So I put her in a bag and left her next to her brother. She was a beautiful little girl.’Hopefully our medical authorities are correct and this virus will not spread easily in this country. But at this point even some of our top politicians are wondering if we are truly getting accurate information. For example, check out what U.S. Senator Rand Paul had to say on the Laura Ingraham Show just recently…“I really think that it is being domi-nated by political correctness and I think because of political correctness we’re not really making sound, ratio-nal, scientific decisions on this.” Paul said referring to statements issued by the CDC last week that assured there

was little risk of an outbreak occurring in the US.“We should not underestimate the transmissibility of this,” said Paul, a doctor himself, adding that medical workers have been contracting the virus even though they are taking precautions and covering themselves with gowns and masks.“My suspicion is that it’s a lot more transmissible than that if people who are taking every precaution are getting it. There are people getting it who simply helped people get in or out of a taxicab.” Paul said.Let’s pray that this crisis fizzles out, because if it doesn’t, we could truly be looking at the greatest health crisis that any of us have ever seen. And along with countless numbers of people getting sick and dying, we would also have to deal with government-imposed medical martial law.The stakes are extremely high, and so let us hope that this crisis does not escalate any further.

What’s even more pow-erful and of note, how-ever, is the substances by which scientists were

able to exhibit these effects. Numerous plant compounds, which also come with a host of additional medicinal benefits outside of their role in the fight against the Ebola virus, have been documented to have extreme promise in the deterrence of yet another virus epidemic. But as the world waits for Bill & Melinda Gates to unveil their latest Ebola vaccine news to the world, there is simply no men-tion of these powerful substances that may hold promise (and be extremely inexpen-sive to get a hold of international) in the fight for our immunity.Despite the complete lack of attention, such research is not hidden within the con-fides of University laboratories and librar-ies. Instead, it is available to the public and simply requires some research within

the National Library of Medicine, its user portal PubMed, and a little bit of reading.

An organic compound found primarily in soy products, genistein has shown much promise when combined with fellow kinase inhibitor tyrphostin AG1478.A 2011 research paper in the journal Archives of Virology entitled, “Inhi-bition of Lassa virus and Ebola virus infection in host cells treated with the kinase inhibitors genistein and tyrphos-tin,” details the pair’s therapeutic role

in reducing the severity of hemorrhagic fever.“In all, the results demonstrate that a kinase inhibitor cocktail consisting of genistein and tyrphostin AG1478 is a broad-spectrum antiviral that may be used as a therapeutic or prophylactic against arenavirus and filovirus hemor-rhagic fever.”The authors, which include researchers from the University of Texas Medical Branch, also reference a previous animal study which shows genistein’s ability to reduce harm from Pichinde ́virus (PICV), an Ebola-like virus that also causes hemorrhagic fever. When administered to hamsters, the following results were reported:“Infection of hamsters with PIRV produces VHF manifestations, includ-ing inflammation/lesions in various organs, core temperature increase, weight loss, viremia, petechial rash, hemorrhage, and mortality. the animals with the kinase inhibitor genistein led to a significant increase in survival and to the amelioration of VHF disease signs [9]. None of the treated mock-infected animals had any adverse signs of disease associated with the treatment. Therefore, this study served as a proof-of-concept for using a kinase inhibitor as a therapeutic or prophylactic in an animal model.”Although genistein and tyrophostin individually inhibited the entry of these viruses into the cells, together they were able to interfere with endo-cytosis (the process by which a cell pulls in a virus) and uncoating proteins (the process by which a virus alters proteins on the surface of the host cell to gain entry) while also producing a synergistic effect.“In all, these data demonstrate that infection of host cells with the filovi-ruses MARV and EBOV and the arena-virus LASV is inhibited when cells are pretreated with genistein or tyrphostin AG1478. In both cases, the inhibi-tion was found to be concentration dependent. Although the inhibition of EBOV in cells pre-treated with 100 lM genistein appeared to differ slightly, the addition of increasing concentra-tions of tyrphostin AG1478 led to a synergistic antiviral effect. In all, these data demonstrate that a kinase inhibi-tor cocktail consisting of genistein and tyrphostin AG1478 may act as a broad antiviral against EBOV, MARV, and LASV in vitro.”Sources of genistein include ferment soy foods, wherein beneficial microbes cause the biotransformation of the precursor phytocompund genistin into genistein, as well as fava beans, kudzu, coffee, and red clover.

A tree found throughout Western Africa, Garcinia kola has been found to “inhibit the Ebola virus in cell culture at non-toxic concentrations.”A 1999 report from Maurice Iwu, executive director of the Bio-resources Development and Conservation Pro-gramme, notes the vital role of the tree’s seeds in battling the virus.“Extracts from Garcinia kola seeds were tested against many complex viral diseases. The active compound, now known to be a biflavonoid, was found to be active against a wide range of viruses including the influenza virus. In all cases, the active concentration was less than 10 times the known min-imum toxic concentration. Iwu says: “This gives us a very wide window of opportunity for drug development. We will be able to modify the effective compound with less likelihood of intro-ducing unacceptable toxicity.”The extract also caught the attention of John Huggins, a virus expert with the US Army Medical Research Institutes of Infective Diseases, who hailed the compound for passing the first stage of testing with “flying colors.”

Page 28: Obola Tyranny Is The Disease 26th Issue Infowars Magazine

Research from the late Dr Robert Cath-cart, MD, who had extensive experi-ence treating deadly infections with high dose vitamin C, asserted that the Ebola virus could be “neutralized by massive doses of sodium ascor-bate intravenously.”According to Cathcart, symptoms produced by the virus are nearly identical to acute scurvy, a disease that produces bleeding all over the body when levels of vitamin C become depleted.“All of these diseases ultimately kill mostly by free radicals so it does not make any difference as to which dis-ease it is…Since these species (Man, higher monkeys, Guinea pigs and some bats) do not make vitamin C, it is easier for these diseases, by making massive amounts of free radicals which destroy vitamin C, to induce acute systemic scurvy and its result-ing high fever, hemorrhaging, etc”Coupled with its antiviral properties, regular use of vitamin C can boost the immune system to better prepare the body for harmful pathogens.

A hormone and steroid produced by woman, estradiol was found to exhibit anti-Ebola virus activity in vitro, indicat-ing the relevance of hormonal factors and perhaps gender in susceptibility to the disease.A 2013 analysis entitled, “A systematic screen of FDA-approved drugs for inhibi-tors of biological threat agents,” detailed the findings:“We also identified estradiol and toremifene, two steroidal hormones, as inhibitory to both MARV and EBOV. Interestingly, these compounds have previously been identified as inhibitors of New World arenaviruses but were suggested to interfere with late stages of viral replication and assembly.”Another study reported:“Anti-EBOV activity was confirmed for both of these SERMs in an in vivo mouse infection model. This anti-EBOV activity occurred even in the absence of detect-able estrogen receptor expression, and both SERMs inhibited virus entry after internalization, suggesting that clomi-phene and toremifene are not working through classical pathways associated with the estrogen receptor.”

OBama fIgHTs eBOla WITH a CZaR aND sOlDIeRs

The public continues to be reassured that ebola is not a problem for the US, but CNN reports that Obama has appointed an Ebola Czar. The

Czar is not a medical person but an insider lawyer who served as chief of staff to Vice President Biden.

Little wonder ebola conspiracy theo-ries are spreading faster than ebola. And as far as any of us know, the conspira-cies could be true.

University of Illinois law professor Francis Boyle, an expert of the perfidies of the US government, reminds us that Sierra Leone and Liberia, the countries most affected by the ebola outbreak, are two West African countries that host US biological warfare laboratories. Profes-sor Boyle asks how the disease, which is mainly associated with equatorial Congo reached West Africa thousands of kilometers away.

Washington’s response is itself pecu-liar. The Obama regime sent 4,000 US soldiers to West Africa to fight ebola.

Soldiers don’t have training

or equipment with which to combat ebola. Why expose 4,000 Americans to an epidemic? This seemingly point-less decision has raised suspicions that Washington is exposing troops to ebola so that vaccines or treatments can be tested on the troops.

Other commentators have noticed that West Africa is an area of Chinese invest-ments. They wonder if Washington is using the cover of ebola to occupy the countries or even set the disease loose in order to drive out the Chinese. The new US Africa Command was formed to counteract Chinese economic penetra-tion in Africa.

The incompetence of US public health authorities in responding to ebola gives legs to these theories. Real conspira-cies abound. Those who say “it’s just a conspiracy theory” need to look up the meaning of conspiracy. As one commen-tator observed, the CDC’s response to ebola is too stupid for stupid.

The CDC’s protocol is based on assumptions about ebola that do not seem to be true for the current

strain. A nurse, who treated the ebola patient in Dallas who died, was

given the green light to fly commercially even though she reported

to CDC that she had symptoms. She exposed 132 passengers on the flight, and these passengers have since been in contact with thousands of other people. The Daily Mail has published photo-graphs of an American with a clipboard and without protective suiting boarding the nurse on a private airplane on way to hospital quarantine. US public health authorities have imposed no quarantine on travel to the US from infected coun-tries. US airlines continue to fly to and fro from the infected countries despite the risk of introducing new infections into the US.

African countries are doing a much better job than the hegemonic super-power. They have closed borders, pre-vented air travel, and tracked down infected persons and those exposed to them.Instead of taking sensible precau-tions, the Obama regime appoints an Ebola Czar and sends 4,000 Americans into the areas where the disease rages.

Little wonder that Americans have no confidence in their government.

As the Republicans want to privatize and outsource everything, why not close down Washington and outsource our governance to a more competent country?

from the World Health Organi-zation: “For WHO to declare an Ebola outbreak over, a country must pass through 42 days, with active surveillance

demonstrably in place, supported by good diagnostic capacity, and with no new cases detected. Active surveillance is essential to detect chains of trans-mission that might otherwise remain hidden.”The WHO estimates 2% of Ebola incu-bations occur after 21 days.In other words, a number of people who passed the 21 days of observa-tion without symptoms may in fact be infected and when released possibly pass the disease on to others. The globalist organization said ear-lier this week it is “alarmed by media reports of suspected Ebola cases imported into new countries that are said, by government officials or minis-tries of health, to be discarded as ‘neg-ative’ within hours after the suspected case enters the country.”As the case of Texas nurse Nina Pham, who came down with Ebola after contact with patient zero, Thomas Duncan, and the response by the CDC and nurses, it should be painfully

obvious the U.S. healthcare system is woefully unprepared to deal with an Ebola epidemic. The CDC, a classic government bureau-cracy with a bloated budget ($6.6 billion a year), has reacted in dinosaur fashion to the spread of the disease in the United States. The revelation the disease has a much longer incubation period will exacerbate its ineffectual response. The top government bureaucrat at the CDC, Dr. Tom Frieden, told us not to worry about Ebola, that protocols were in place to contain the disease. After the Pham incident the leviathan agency declared there was a “breach of protocol” and Ms. Pham was to blame. After a nurse union complained about Freiden’s pass the buck response, we found out that, in fact, virtually all hospitals in the U.S. are not prepared to handle Ebola patients.Ebola requires what is called level 4 bio-containment. “In the US there are 4 units geared up to handle Ebola. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Clinical Center, Bethesda, Maryland, has 3 beds. Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, has 10 beds. Emory Hospital, Atlanta has 3 beds and St Patricks Hos-

pital, Missoula has 3 beds,” writes Liz Bennett for Underground Medic. In other words, the U.S. is basically in the same boat as West Africa. “I think we just found out why the gov-ernment(s) are under-playing the situation,” Bennett continues. “They simply do not have the facilities to cope with even a small outbreak. They are, in fact in exactly the same position as the dirt-poor hospitals in West Africa… there are not enough facilities to stop the spread of the disease if it gets out. The quality of care is better, but the availability of containment most likely isn’t.”Congress has promised to get to the bottom of the crisis, but you can bet this will quickly devolve into the normal Republican-vs-Democrat partisan free-for-all. As Carroll Quigley observed, the one party political system in the United States was designed to produce bickering that produces predictable and manageable results. From The Wall Street Journal:Thursday’s hearing comes as lawmak-ers ratchet up their criticism of the U.S. response to the Ebola virus. Republicans have lambasted the Obama adminis-tration for its handling of the disease.

Democrats have said Republicans have failed to provide additional funding for health agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, while also calling for more preparation from the government.Obama, who cancelled campaign events to “monitor the federal govern-ment’s response to the first instances of Ebola in the U.S.,” and Democrats, who in typical knee jerk fashion want to throw confiscated tax payer money at the disease and bloat the federal bureaucracy further, will ensure noth-ing of significance happens. Republi-cans, on the other hand, seem content with merely criticizing Obama and the Democrats.Once again demonstrating government reacts in sluggish dinosaur fashion, House Speaker John Boehner has called for a travel ban from West Africa while Democrats, led by the ever inapt Nancy Pelosi, say this is not necessary.

The White House has resisted any effort to stem the virus by banning travel from West Africa. Instead, it has ordered what amounts to a facile public relations campaign – instituting “disease surveillance” at airports, an effort experts roundly condemn as not only ineffectual, but ludicrous.Polls reveal two-thirds of Americans want passengers from West African nations barred from entering the United States, but as usual the govern-ment arrogantly ignores them.Ryan McMaken writes that the “long-term view of the history of disease prevention does not present much of an impeachable case for government intervention. Indeed, governments excel at creating the conditions that enhance the spread of disease, as they did with the Spanish flu in the after-math of World War I.”As Ron Paul noted recently, Firestone established treatment and quarantine

procedures to prevent the spread of the disease in Harbel, Liberia, where the company maintains a rubber planta-tion.“Firestone’s success in containing Ebola shows that, far from justifying new state action, the Ebola crises demon-strates that individuals acting in the free market can do a better job of con-taining Ebola than can governments,” Paul writes.“It is far more likely that a decentralized and private-property-based approach would be more manageable, effective, and adaptable to local conditions,” McMaken adds. But, of course, the decentralized, local and property-based solutions proposed by Paul and McMaken are anathema to ever-expanding government, so we can expect more of the same as the disease continues to spread. It’s not called Obola for nothing.

The Obama administration said the petition, which urged the White House to take proper action to fight Ebola, was removed from

Whitehouse.gov because it “violated” the “Terms of Participation.”

“The petition you are trying to access has been removed from the site under our Moderation Policy because it is in violation of our Terms of Participation,” the White House stated. “While you can’t sign this petition, there may be other petitions on We the People on a similar issue that you’d like to add your name to.”

Of course, no where in the First Amend-ment does it state citizens can only petition the government for a redress of grievances if they accept terms and conditions written by the White House.

So, by removing the petition, it appears the Obama administration is more interested in controlling the nar-rative surrounding the Ebola pandemic than actually stopping the disease.

For one thing, Obama refuses to ban travel from Ebola-struck African coun-tries despite Marine Gen. John Kelly warning the outbreak in Africa could lead to “mass migration into the U.S.” of those infected with Ebola seeking treatment.

“If it breaks out, it’s literally, ‘Katie bar the door,’ and there will be mass migra-tion into the United States,” Kelly said in remarks to the National Defense Uni-versity. “They will run away from Ebola, or if they suspect they are infected, they will try to get to the United States for treatment.”

But Obama has downplayed this possibility, choosing instead to make boastful statements, which have been refuted time and again by reality, that U.S. officials have procedures in place to stop Ebola.

“We know how to fight this disease,” the president claimed in a speech on Saturday. “We know the protocols and we know that when they’re followed, they work.”

The protocols he refers to have largely been ignored by federal agencies, including the White House which added only five of the 18 health centers rec-ommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to restrain an Ebola outbreak.

But many of the CDC’s protocols are largely worthless anyways and some are even dangerous, like the agency’s inac-curate Ebola “Safety Guide” on handling protective equipment which was refuted by several medical experts.

The CDC, like many other bureaucra-cies, has gotten too politicized to fully perform its intended purpose.

“Rather than fight disease, the CDC now pushes for mandatory motorcycle helmet laws, and studies playground accidents, video games and violence, and ‘social norming’ in schools,” Dr. Richard Amerling, M.D., of the Associ-ation of American Physicians and Sur-geons wrote. “No wonder it can’t handle Ebola.”

a simple Google search on the CDC web site reveals more search results for “zombie preparedness” (253 results) than “Ebola

preparedness” (178 results), highlight-ing the misplaced priorities of the health agency which admitted Tuesday it did little to contain Ebola in Dallas, Texas.

The CDC’s “zombie preparedness” doc-uments stem from a public awareness campaign the agency launched in 2011 to take advantage of the popularity of the TV show The Walking Dead.

“It was actually a great way to get people to think about, you know if you’re prepared for a zombie, you’re really prepared for a hurricane, a tor-nado, an infectious disease, just about anything,” CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden told NPR in 2012.

The then-Director of the CDC’s Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response, Dr. Ali Khan, echoed a similar

statement.“If you are generally well equipped

to deal with a zombie apocalypse, you will be prepared for a hurricane, pan-demic, earthquake or terrorist attack,” he wrote.

But it would appear this “zombie pre-paredness” campaign did little to pre-pare U.S. health workers for the Ebola pandemic in Dallas, Texas, now that a second nurse has the disease after treat-ing the late Thomas Eric Duncan, who was the first patient diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S.

Additionally, the CDC only beefed up information regarding Ebola on its web site around Aug. 19, weeks after an American who contracted Ebola in Liberia died after flying through an international airport, underscoring the agency’s tendency to react poorly to pandemics instead of preventing them from occurring.

And the CDC’s poor response to U.S.

Ebola cases occurred despite the agen-cy’s $6.6 billion budget.

“With so much money being thrown at emergency preparedness, one would think these agencies would have a plan to deal with something like a pandemic outbreak, but they don’t,” Robert Rich-ardson of Off-Grid Survival wrote. “With [the first] case of Ebola showing up in the U.S., we have witnessed the complete breakdown of the entire fed-eral preparedness system.”

“From DHS and Border Patrol failing to shut down air travel during an active epidemic in West Africa, to the CDC’s complete failure to manage a single case of Ebola, no one in government seems to have an actual plan in place to deal with this type of emergency.”

“In fact, day after day the CDC comes out during their daily press conference basically admitting they’re making it up as they go,” he added.

Their incompetence is always expensive, but now it risks a worldwide ebola pandemic.

With so little known about a deadly disease, one would

think that with ebola on the rampage in three west Africa countries, air flights to and from these countries would be halted.

When riots or kidnappings present dangers in foreign lands, the State Department issues a travel advisory and warns, and sometimes prevents, Ameri-cans from traveling to areas of danger. As the ebola danger goes beyond the person himself, one would think public officials would have halted traffic to and from west Africa. In fact, it is harder for a critic of the US government, especially if the critic is Muslim, to enter the US than for a person infected with ebola. Indeed, there are a number of Russians who cannot enter the US because of unilaterally imposed US sanctions. But there are no sanctions against ebola.

Apparently, public health officials have an outdated and incorrect compre-hension of ebola and how it spreads. A sufficient number of medical personnel protected against ebola patients’ body fluids but without respirators have now been infected to indicate that the cur-rent strain of ebola can spread by air like flu. This also means surface contact.

Airplane cleaning crews at New York LaGuardia went on strike because there were no precautions or protections for

cleaners who could come into contact with ebola from an infected passenger. Neither does the next passenger on an outgoing flight have any assurance that he will not be sitting in the seat occu-pied by an ebola carrier on the incom-ing flight.

In fact, something like this might have already occurred. A British citizen who has not been to countries where there are ebola outbreaks has just died in Skopje, Macedonia, apparently from ebola. His companion told authorities that they had travelled straight from the UK. The hotel has been sealed off, and the hotel staff and ambulance crew have been isolated. I assume also the traveling companion, but the report doesn’t say.

Five US airports that have flights to the infected west African countries have imposed screening on incoming passengers, such as temperature checks. This is better than nothing, but if, as is believed, the deadly virus has a long incubation period, this screening would only catch people with symptoms, and, of course, there are many reasons for high temperatures, especially during cold and flu season.

So what our incompetent public offi-cials have arranged is screening that will quarantine people who have caught a cold but fail to catch those carrying ebola who have not yet come down with it.

Par for the course.

The video provides another sterling example of how to exercise one’s rights if stopped at suspicion-less police checkpoint.

The driver in the video was stopped by police at a DUI check-point in Las Vegas Nevada. He writes “I went through three DUI checkpoints on the night of this incident, and this is the only one that did not release me imme-diately upon refusing to answer questions.”

“I was detained at a DUI check-point for refusing to answer their questions, after refusing to answer all questions I was released after nearly six min-utes.” the man adds.

The video serves as a great example of what to do at a DUI checkpoint. The man remains calm and speaks clearly but non-aggressively. He explains that he knows his rights, provides documented examples, remains adamant that he is not obligated to answer questions unless he is suspected of a crime, and asks the police to identify themselves.

He also informs the police that he has a weapon in the vehicle, and tells them where it is without reach-ing for it or showing it.

Despite calling the man’s actions in standing up for his rights “crap,”

the cops in this case also remained relatively calm. Obviously this is not always the case, as was recently doc-umented at a checkpoint in DeKalb,

Illinois. It is now the norm for police to

consider everybody equally likely to be guilty of something than innocent. This is proactive policing, not preven-

tative or reactive policing. And the worrying thing is that this kind of policing is more widely indicative of a society that is NOT free.

The Fourth Amendment was specifically created to protect the American people against this type of arbitrary enforce-ment activity. It would seem however that a modern day ‘writ of assistance’ is being operated by law enforcement officials.

Far from increasing the secu-rity of the country, these check-points serve as little more than obedience training for the bur-geoning American police state.

Sobriety checkpoints are gen-erally permitted by the courts, but only if conducted properly. Though police are permitted to stop you briefly, they may not search you or your car unless they have probable cause that you’re under the influence or you agree to the search. As such, you are not required to answer their questions or admit to breaking the law.

If you encounter a checkpoint, you should ask the personnel there

if they are officers of the law, whether you are being detained or not and if they have probable cause. If the answer to one of these questions is no then there is no lawful right to detain you.

The previous day he called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and did the same.

Last week during a speech delivered at the John F. Ken-nedy Jr. Forum at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University Biden told the audience the Persian Gulf Wahhabist regimes and Turkey are responsible for supporting ISIS and al-Nusra.

Biden said in response to a ques-tion that the

Saudis, the Emiratis, etc… were so determined to take down Assad and essentially have a proxy Sun-ni-Shia war, what did they do? They poured hundreds of millions of dollars and tens, thousands of tons of weapons into anyone who would fight against Assad except that the people who were being supplied were Al Nusra and Al Qaeda and the extremist elements of jihadis coming from other parts of the world. Now you think I’m exagger-ating – take a look. Where did all of this go? So now what’s happening? All of a sudden everybody’s awak-ened because this outfit called ISIL which was Al Qaeda in Iraq, which when they were essentially thrown out of Iraq, found open space in

territory in eastern Syria, work with Al Nusra who we declared a terrorist group early on and we could not convince our colleagues to stop supplying them.

This is only part of the story. In fact, the United States, Britain and Israel have played a key role in arming and training ISIS, now the Islamic State. Direct evidence of this support emerged during congressional hearings on Beng-hazi when the CIA’s “rat line” arms ship-ment to “moderate rebels” in Syria was exposed.

As Infowars.com noted last year, ambassador Stevens, who was killed in Benghazi, was instrumental not only in facilitating weapon transfers to Syria from Libya, but also served as a key con-tact with the Saudis to coordinate the recruitment by Saudi Arabia of Islamic fighters from North Africa and Libya.

Moreover, the effort by the U.S., Turkey and the Gulf Emirates to support and arm radical Wahhabist factions in Syria – who are the only effective fight-ers in the proxy war to unseat al-Assad – has been widely documented in the European press while generally ignored in the United States.

Back in 2007, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh sketched out the rationale for the collaboration between the U.S., Britain, Israel, Turkey, and the Gulf Emirates:

To undermine Iran, which is predom-inantly Shiite, the Bush Administration has decided, in effect, to reconfigure its priorities in the Middle East. In Leba-non, the Administration has coöperated with Saudi Arabia’s government, which is Sunni, in clandestine operations that are intended to weaken Hezbollah, the Shiite organization that is backed by Iran. The U.S. has also taken part in clandestine operations aimed at Iran and its ally Syria. A by-product of these activities has been the bolstering of Sunni extremist groups that espouse a militant vision of Islam and are hostile to America and sympathetic to Al Qaeda.

This plan began in the 1980s with a policy paper written by Israeli scholar Oded Yinon – A Strategy for Israel in the Nineteen Eighties – and was updated in 1996 by the establishment’s neocon fac-tion in A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm.

“Israel can shape its strategic envi-ronment, in cooperation with Turkey and Jordan, by weakening, containing, and even rolling back Syria. This effort can focus on removing Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq — an important Israeli strategic objective in its own right — as a means of foiling Syria’s regional ambitions,” the document states.

albeit temporary damage on the effort to portray ISIS as an arch enemy instead of what it really is – a key component in the effort to take down al-Assad and confront Iran.

Despite Biden’s embarrassing admission the larger agenda – removing Bashar al-As-sad and his Shia government – remains paramount. This will be accomplished by supposedly attacking the Islamic State mercenary army, said to number around 30,000 fighters. This relatively small army allegedly controls 25 percent of Syrian ter-ritory and a third of Iraq.

Despite air strikes and hyperbolic speeches by Obama and British PM David Cameron, ISIS recently took control of Abu Ghraib and key cities in the Anbar province. It is now reportedly a mile outside Baghdad.

The U.S., Israel, Britain, the Gulf Emir-ates, Jordan and Turkey share an overriding agenda – to exacerbate the Sunni-Shia con-flict and balkanize the region along ethnic and religious lines. This will continue and criticism of the effort will be deflected on the Saudis and Qataris who are impervious and in a position to force an American vice president to grovel at their feet.

In terms of purchasing power, China now has the largest economy on the entire planet, but that is not the only area where China has surpassed the United States. China also accounts for more total global trade than the U.S. does, China consumes more energy than the U.S. does, and China now manufactures more goods than the

U.S. does. In other words, the era of American economic dominance is rapidly ending. Global economic power is making a dramatic shift to the east, and that is going to have huge implications for our future. We already owe the Chinese well over a trillion dollars, and as our economic infrastructure crumbles we are feverishly borrowing even more money in a desperate attempt to prop up our falling standard of living. We can’t seem to match the work ethic, inventiveness and determination of China and other Asian nations and it is showing. If we continue down this path, what will the future look like for future generations of Americans?

In terms of raw GDP, the U.S. is still number one, at least for now. But according to the IMF, China is now the number one economy on the entire planet in terms of purchasing power…

The simple logic is that prices aren’t the same in each country: A shirt will cost you less in Shanghai than San Francisco, so it’s not entirely rea-sonable to compare countries without taking this into account. Though a typical person in China earns a lot less than the typical person in the US, simply converting a Chinese salary into dollars underestimates how much purchasing power that individual, and therefore that country, might have. The Economist’s Big Mac Index is a great example of these disparities.

So the IMF measures both GDP in market exchange terms, and in terms of purchasing power. On the purchasing power basis, China is overtaking the US right about now and becoming the world’s biggest economy.

When I first learned about this, I was quite stunned.I knew that China’s economy had been roaring, but like most Americans

I just assumed that the U.S. would continue to remain head and shoul-ders above everyone else.

Unfortunately, things are changing at a pace that is much faster than most people ever thought possible. The following are 26 other ways that China has surpassed America…

The Chinese are using some of their new wealth to buy up land, properties and businesses here in the United States. In fact, just the other day we learned that a group from China is buying New York City’s Waldorf Astoria hotel.

And most Americans don’t realize this, but Chinese-made cars will soon be sold in the United States.

The following is from a recent WND article…Chinese-made cars will be making their way to the U.S. next year, and

guess which company is going to start exporting them to our shores?A Chinese company, of course.Chinese-owned Volvo’s parent company, Zhejiang Geely Holding

Group, will begin exporting its S60L from China to the United States as early as next year, according to a Reuters report which quoted a senior Volvo executive.

Volvo is trying to take advantage of two new Chinese factories that will make up an export hub to send vehicles to the U.S. and Russia.

Everywhere you look, China is dominating and America is in decline. If this was a sporting event for little kids, the “mercy rule” would

have been invoked by now.Unfortunately, there is no “mercy rule” on the global economic

stage. The United States is going to have to get things together if it wants

to have any hope of competing with the Chinese in the future. The Chinese are kicking our tails and they know it.One survey found found that 75 percent of those living in China

believe that their country is on the right track. On the other hand, Americans are not nearly as optimistic.According to one average of recent surveys, only 28 percent of

Americans believe that the United States is on the right track.I think that those numbers say a lot. We have been in decline for

quite some time, but we can never seem to get the ship righted.Hopefully our leaders can start coming up with some solutions

soon, because we are running out of time.

much of this perception is relatively recent and primarily boils down to the Iraq War. The neoconservative war-

mongering was in full swing and for his part, Barack Obama gave a ratherpleas-ant speech about his opposition to the war before it began. In his book, Obama elaborated,

What I sensed, though, was that the threat Saddam posed was not imminent, the Administration’s rationales for war were flimsy and ideologically driven, and the war in Afghanistan was far from

complete.[1]Not terribly bad, at least for a politi-

cian.Obama then proceeded to escalate

the war in Afghanistan, go to war with Libya without Congressional approval, authorize airstrikes in Iraq as well as drone strikes in Yemen, Soma-lia, and Pakistan while saber-rattling at Syria, Iran and the Ukraine. Even the American withdrawal from Iraq he over-saw —which is now being ballyhooed by clueless neoconservatives — was hardly different than the schedule George W. Bush had already agreed to.

Indeed, as far as Democratic, and ostensibly progressive, politicians were concerned, Obama was actually abnor-mal in his tepid opposition to the Iraq War. Senate Democrats voted in favor of letting George Bush go to war 25 to 20. Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Dianne Feinstein, and John Kerry all voted yes.

Furthermore, it wasn’t long ago that the supposedly conservative Republi-cans were the ones against war and the supposedly liberal Democrats in favor of it. The big difference seemed to be noth-ing more than which party’s politician was in office. For example, regarding

the military action in Kosovo in 1999, Senate Republicans opposed the reso-lution giving Clinton authorization for military action 13 to 32 while the Dem-ocrats supported it 38 to 3. The 2000 Republican Party platform even criti-cized the Democrats for being too mil-itaristic abroad. Only later, after almost unanimous support on both sides of the aisle for the war in Afghanistan, did the parties switch for Iraq. Well, sort of switched.

Progressive opposition to the Iraq War has been very much exagger-ated. Both the left-liberal New York Times and Washington Post backed the war. Thomas Friedman, Christo-pher Hitchens, Jacob Weisberg, George Packer and Jonathan Chait all supported the invasion. Current Senator and lib-eral-favorite Al Franken noted that “… I believed Colin Powell. I believed the presumption that the President is telling the truth. So I thought, ‘I guess we have to go to war.’” The popular liberal blog-ger Matt Yglesias explained his support for the war as having been because he “… adhered to the school of thought (popular at the time) which held that one major problem in the world was that the US government was unduly constrained in the use of force abroad by domestic politics.” In other words, progressives weren’t getting as much war in the 90’s as they would have pre-ferred.

Sure, most of them eventually repu-diated their former support (with the notable exception of Christopher Hitch-ens). But almost everyone outside of a few neoconservative perma-hawks have done the same. When Republican Con-gressman Dana Rohrabacher was asked in 2010 how many of his Republican colleagues thought the war was a mis-take, he responded, “I will say that the decision to go in, in retrospect, almost all of us think that was a horrible mis-take.” Being against the Iraq War now is

Page 56: Obola Tyranny Is The Disease 26th Issue Infowars Magazine

56 VOL. 3 ISSUE 3 NOVEMBER 2014 INFOWARS MAGAZINE—INFOWARS.COM

kind of like being against slavery now. It’s certainly the correct moral posi-tion, but it’s not a particularly brave or impressive stance to take.

And while there were more on the Left who opposed the Iraq War from the beginning, it must be noted that anti-war movement amongst progressives quickly dissipated as soon as Barack Obama was elected. And while some on the Left have opposed Obama’s many interventions (albeit quietly), you’ll find more support than opposi-tion amongst progressives for Obama’s “kinetic military actions.” For example, Nancy Pelosi was pushing for a war with Syria while Progressive-favorite Eliza-beth Warren wants to bomb Iraq. DNC Chair Michael Czin even channeled his inner-neoconservative by declaring that Rand Paul “blames America for all the problems in the world” because of Paul’s (unfortunately short-lived) criticism of intervening in Iraq once again.

Before airstrikes began in Libya, Slate ran articles titled “Don’t Let Qaddafi Win” and “ Why Obama Doesn’t Need to Ask Congress Before Attacking Libya.” And it was no different for Syria, as Slatewriter Fred Kaplan opined,

… [Obama’s} rationale for military strikes (which I agree with) puts him in a box. The organizations charged with enoforcing international law are not joining in the attack. The U.N. Security Council is “paralyzed.” … To gain some measure of legitmacy, Obama at least needs domestic support. And so, in addi-tion to announcing that he’d decided to launch an attack on Syrian targets, he also announced that he would have Congress debate and vote on a resolu-tion authorizing military force.

So Slate, the popular, progressive online magazine, supports the President asking Congress for authorization to go

to war, but only when it is not practical or possible for the President to go to war on his own accord. Now that is a peace-loving position if there ever was one!

Democratic voters haven’t been much better. According to a Pew Study, Dem-ocrats were slightly more likely (47 percent to 45 percent) to support “con-ducting airstrikes in Libya” than Repub-licans. Furthermore, again according to Pew, only 19 percent of Democrats were opposed to taking military action against Iraq in January 2002. When the war began, it was only 37 percent and that number didn’t cross the half way mark until 2004.

It is important to note that Democrat is not a synonym for Progressive, and the party of old cannot be directly compared to the party of today. Still, generally speaking, the Democrats have supported greater economic control and redistribution by the federal gov-ernment, at least since the New Deal. In other words, the Democrats have, generally speaking, been the party of the progressives. Thereby, it is not insig-nificant to point out that the United States became involved in all four major American wars in the twentieth century with Democratic Presidents in office. (Woodrow Wilson in World War I, Franklin Roosevelt in World War II, Harry Truman in the Korean War and Lyndon Johnson in the Vietnam War). Indeed, in an interesting piece of research, Gallup found that the partisan difference regarding Iraq didn’t exist for Vietnam. In 1965, more Republicans were opposed to military action in Vietnam than Democrats (28 percent to 22 percent). The sides didn’t switch until about 1970 and remained close throughout the war.

Of course, many on the Left have

Page 57: Obola Tyranny Is The Disease 26th Issue Infowars Magazine

57VOL. 3 ISSUE 3 NOVEMBER 2014 INFOWARS MAGAZINE—INFOWARS.COM

been consistently opposed to war. The socialist Eugene Debs was even impris-oned during World War I for denounc-ing America’s participation in the conflict. And sometimes, unfortunately, it appears that such leftists are not so much anti-war, but simply on the other side. For example, while the American involvement in Vietnam was an abomi-nation, that doesn’t mean Ho-Chi Minh’s communist regime was something to celebrate. And it’s hard to make that the case that Jane Fonda was being “anti-war” when she was photographed sit-ting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun or that Noam Chomsky was pushing for peace while shilling for Pol Pot and Khmer Rogue during the Killing Fields in Cambodia.

And in general, the mainstream pro-gressives of old were even more pro-war than the conservatives. For instance, the staunch progressive William Jennings Bryan was an adamant supporter of the Spanish-American War. In the words of historian William Leuchtenburg, “few political figures exceeded the enthusi-asm of William Jennings Bryan for the Spanish War.[2] Thomas Woods further observes,

The humanitarian aspect of the war — namely, liberating Cuba from Spanish rule — appealed to Progressives. The response of feminist leader Elizabeth Cady Stanton was typical: “Though I hate war per se,” she wrote, “I am glad that it has come in this instance. I would like to see Spain … swept from the face of the earth.”[3]

World War I was even worse. The-odore Roosevelt, who started the explicitly progressive Bull Moose Party, was more adamant then anyone about getting the United States involved in

World War I. In fact, most progressives were in favor of the First World War, including Walter Lippmann, Herbert Croly and John Dewey. Murray Roth-bard described Dewey’s activism on the matter as follows,

… John Dewey prepared himself to lead the parade for war as America drew nearer to armed intervention in the European struggle. First, in Janu-ary 1916 in the New Republic, Dewey attacked the “professional pacifist’s” outright condemnation of war as a “sentimental phantasy,” a confusion of means and ends. Force, he declared, was simply “a means of getting results,” and therefore could neither be lauded or condemned per se.[4]

And the progressives’ support for war continued through World War II to the Korean War. Opposition to the war in Korea was scarce, but the little that was found was mostly on the Old Right, led by Robert Taft. It wasn’t until the Viet-nam War was well under way that any real anti-war movement could be found on the Left. And as the politics of today show, a consistent anti-war sentiment is a minority opinion on the Left.

History is crystal clear that progres-sives have not been universally or even mostly opposed to war. Conservatives are in general no better, and of recent, they are somehow even worse. Thereby, it’s quite unlikely that a cure for the festering rot known as the warfare state will come from the right. But given its history, such a cure will probably not come from the left either.

Also tell your kids and your grandkids. Tell your parents, and your best friend’s hairdresser. The more people that know about the under-handed tactics of biotech to prohibit the sustainable access of food to consum-ers, the better. We can defeat them not just with money, but also by edu-cating people about how damaging GMOs are for us and the environment – but we have to act expe-diently.

Both initiatives – Prop-osition 105 on the state-wide ballot in Colorado and Measure 92 in Oregon will decide if biotech can keep forcing GMOs down our throats.

WRITTEN BY paU l J O s e p H WaTs O N

Black conservative leader Mychal Massie warns that a pandemic caused by the Obama administration’s failure to secure the borders

could lead to martial law being declared and the 2016 elections being cancelled.

In an article for WND, Massie, former chairman of the National Leadership Network of Black Conservatives-Project 21 and a nationwide media pundit, accuses the White House of lying to the American people about the threat posed by illegal aliens crossing the border with infectious diseases.

Complaining that Obama is working hand in hand with establishment Repub-licans like John Boehner and Karl Rove to “destroy America,” Massie accuses the President of providing “safe harbor for disease-carrying illegal aliens” who are contributing to the resurgence of illnesses like polio, tuberculosis, and measles.

“Every person should be demanding Obama be made to answer why he has provided safe harbor for disease-car-rying illegal aliens, diseases that have already resulted in loss of life of Amer-ican children. Why is Congress silent? Where is the concern for We the People that Republicans want us to believe they have for America?” asks Massie.

The columnist goes on to suggest that such crises could build to the point

where they may threaten the 2016 elec-tion.

“What could be more economically devastating than a disease pandemic and martial law to prevent a run on banks and to allow government-con-trolled media blackouts?” writes Massie.

In addition to the threat posed by more common diseases, hundreds of illegal aliens from Ebola-hit countries have been caught crossing the southern border in the last few months, accord-ing to National Border Patrol Council spokesman Chris Cabrera.

Former Border Patrol Agent Zach Taylor also revealed that the CDC is working with Border Patrol authorities and the Department of Homeland Secu-rity to disappear potential Ebola victims attempting to cross the border into the United States.

Massie’s comments echo those of GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson, who told Fox News last month that the 2016 elections could be put on hold due to “anarchy” sweeping the country as a result of the Obama administration’s policies.

Several other pundits have also specu-lated that Obama could move to cancel the presidential election, including author Erik Rush, who told Alan Colmes last year that there’s a 50% chance Obama will become a dictator and stay in office indefinitely.
