Good Evening Sir , as you have told, here I am mailing you the title, Objectives and Questionnaire. Patil sir has said ok for objectives and he told to discuss questionnaire with you sir.he told to get more information on periodical meetings of committees. Company has nearly 1500 labours but they are not that educated to fill up the questionnaire and I discussed this with patil sir,he told to fill up questionnaire from Members of the committees but members are of max 15 members. With whom I should fill up the questionnaires, Members or the labours? Please help me out in Title, and some more questions in questionnaire. I have doubt in 9 th and 10 th question sir. HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE

Objective Of The Committee

The basic objective of formation of the committee is to

enhance the awareness of health and safety issues/matters among the

workers and to educate them on the preventive measures towards of

injuries, accidents, etc… and also mitigate the effects of the related

hazards through precaution as all healthy and safety matters through

consultation process with the active participation from the

management as per the applicable laws,rules regulation and best

industry practical.

Scope

The committee shall have full authority to consider all and

any concerned issues impacting their health, safety and work

environment.

Authority

The decision of the authority shall be binding on the

management and be enforced promptly. The committee shall have to

consult the factory management and issues requiring capital

investment and infrastructure changes.

The compliant received shall be properly documented and

thoroughly discussed in the immediate ensuring meeting. The

method of resolution of compliant shall also be fully documented.

All unresolved unused shall be kept recorded with adequate

description of the limitation of non resolution and almost end earnest

efforts should be exerted to have such issues resolved at the earliest.

(COMPLAINTS COMMITTEE)

Objective of the Committee

The basic objective of forming this committee is to enhance

the awareness regarding sexual harassment. It also includes having a

mechanism in place to address all complaints through consultation.

Process with the active participation from the management as per

applicable laws, rules, regulation and best industry practice.

Scope

The committee shall have full authority to consider all and

any concern issue impacting their sexual harassment.

Authority

The decision of the authority should be binding on the management

and be enforced promptly. The committee shall have to consult the

factory management on issues requiring disciplinary action and other

legal action.

The Honourable Supreme Court Verdict

The Supreme Court has passed a judgement against sexual

harassment on women at workplace in WP No: 666-70 1992 Dated

13-8-1997.

All employers/persons in-charge of work place both

public/private sector should constitute a “COMPLAINTS

COMMITTEE” as per the supreme court judgement.

Objective of the Committee

The Basic objective of formation of the committee is to

enhance the awareness of canteen (at third floor) where food is

supplied at subsidized prices. Any issues relating to the quality or

quantity of the food supplied shall be reported through complaint /

suggestion boxes provided at prominent place in each floor. The

canteen committee has to educate the employees so as to use the

facility in a appropriate manner. The objective also includes having a

mechanism a place to address all canteen matters through

consultation process with the active participation from the

management as per applicable laws, rules, regulation and best

industry practical.

The committee shall have full authority to consider all and any

WORKER’S COMMMITTEE

Objective of committee.

The workers for their benefits supported by the management

formed the workers committee. Here workers are given full liberty to

select their leaders. They have been given freedom to join

organisation of their choice for their collective bargaining.

M/s prateek apparels ensures that workers who make such

decision or participate in such organisation are not the object of

discrimination or punitive disciplinary actions and that the

representations of such organisation have access to their members

under conditions established either by local laws or mutual

agreement between the employer and the workers organisations.

Workers are educated with company rules and displayed in Bi-

language. The management has also posted relevant laws visible to

all workers including safety norms.

Compliance Committee

A meeting on compliance was organised by D.G.M Mr. Ashokan and

FM Mr. Narendra

The following points were discussed

To check and abuse all employees to see that the scissors / Trimmers /

Metal patterns are tagged and used.

To keep the passage free from obstruction of any material, wherever

marked with yellow line / yellow cross lines.

All standing employees must utilise the rubber mats produced for their

safety.
