_CLUB/ STUDENT BODY_ WELLNESS CENTER GROUPS Hello Vikings! Did you know our Wellness Center offers group sessions? One new group gearing up to start is our Gender Support Group! We meet every first Thursday of the month after school in the Wellness Center (room 503). The purpose of this group is to provide a safe, supportive environment for individuals who are questioning their gender identity or who identify as trans, gender-queer, non-binary, or anyone who does not identify as cisgender. Visit the Wellness Center to learn more about other types of group sessions offered!

TRI COUNTIES BANK SCHOLARSHIP We are excited to announce that applications are NOW OPEN for the Tri Counties Bank Scholarship Program! Tri Counties Bank offers two types of scholarships. One is an income based and the second is a merit based scholarship. We encourage applications from talented college-bound high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement and business entrepreneurship — especially among our economically-disadvantaged youth. YOUTH LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE YLI is a free, five-day, overnight, college empowerment program for high achieving Latino high school juniors held at two top universities across the US. This highly selective program is designed to give young leaders the practical tools they need to successfully apply to top universities, have full access to scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and set a course for academic and career success. Attendees will enhance their leadership abilities and expand their professional networks by participating in college and career workshops, living on a college campus, and interacting with college students and professionals who serve as their mentors. AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF BLACKS IN ENERGY (AABE) American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a nationwide non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide direct input into the deliberations and developments of energy policies, regulations, emerging technologies, and environmental issues. We also offer scholarships to graduating high school students who plan to attend a university. For 2020, AABE California Chapter is offering (5) $1,000 scholarship to high school seniors who meet the criteria. There are additional opportunities for the selected high school students to earn (1) $3,000 scholarship at the Western Region level and (1) $5,000 scholarship at National level. DONNER SKI PATROL YOUNG ADULT PATROLLER PROGRAM The National Ski Patrol Young Adult Patroller (YAP) Program is a volunteer educational program that provides a structure and atmosphere for young adults (ages 15 through 17). Our program helps them develop and enrich their lives as they make the transition from teenagers to adulthood by learning skills around snow sports safety and injury prevention, emergency care and response in the outdoors environment, skiing and snowboarding, physical fitness, leadership, and ski patrolling. Through outstanding training programs and engagement of the young patroller, the Young Adult Program provides a foundation for future lifelong patrollers and develops the future leaders of the NSP. STATE SEAL OF BILITERACY If you are a junior or senior student who has taken multiple years of a world language or you speak two languages, please consider reviewing the qualifications for the State Seal of Biliteracy to see if you are or could easily qualify. Being biliterate is an incredible blessing and adds to one's resume as one moves forward in life. The ability to speak, read, and write in more than one language is something schools and employers are looking for in qualified candidates. This past weekend 9 Oakmont wrestlers competed in Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Tournament. 4 Wrestlers medaled! Congratulations Ben Murphy, Stephen Lundquist-Brewer, Sean Myles and James Mintmier! Sean Myles and James Mintmier advance to State Championships! Thank you coaches! 9 Wrestlers advance to Section Masters!

_NOTICE FROM ADMINISTRATION_ DELIVERIES ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! This is a friendly reminder that deliveries and drop-offs for you may only be brought by someone on your emergency card. Additionally, delivery services (DoorDash, Grub Hub, etc.) are not permitted and will be turned away. Any items dropped off for you are to be done by your parent/guardian or a designated person on your emergency contact card. NO EXCEPTIONS! The office will not deliver your items to you or notify you once they are here.

PARKING If you are parking in the neighborhoods around Oakmont, some areas are "Parking By Permit Only". You may be ticketed if you do not have a permit. Please be respectful and follow all traffic laws when driving through the neighborhoods and our parking lot. SCHOOL PARKING LOT: All students and staff who park in OHS parking lot must have a current parking decal. Roseville PD may ticket cars if you do not have a decal. Get your decal from student services.
