DUAL CREDIT GUIDELINES 2019-2020

The Oakcrest High School District offers the opportunity for students in selected courses to acquire college credits through articulation agreements with the College Acceleration Program (CAP) at Rowan College at Burlington County.

• Students who enroll in dual credit courses may be eligible to receive high school credits along with college credits, provided all program requirements are met.

• Qualified students taking the high school class(es) may enroll in the equivalent Rowan course(s) and receive Rowan College at Burlington County credit if they earn the grade of C or above.

Deadline for all three steps of the online registration to be completed for Rowan College at Burlington County. Step 1 (Student) Step 2 (HS Approval) Step 3 (Parent)

How do Students Enroll in these courses:

1.) Students are to talk with the Guidance Office at their school to learn more about the opportunities Rowan College at Burlington County CAP. During this conversation the counselor will be able to suggest which “is the best option for the student” and advise on the registration process.

2.) Students will create an account and register for the courses they would like to take via: rcbc.app.dualenroll.com. (See handout for detailed step by step instructions) 3.) DualEnroll is an online platform that Rowan College at Burlington County uses for all high school enrollment. It allows students to select their classes, obtain HS/parent permissions and submit their payment for their classes, all in one place.
