BASIC PLAY

Hey Grown-ups! This playbook is a great tool to help you introduce the toy and teach your

child how to use it. Follow along together to help guide your child for

a rewarding play experience.

Keep in mind: Since you know your child best,

it is up to you to pick which products and resources are most appropriate

for his or her level of ability. Make sure you supervise the play as needed,

and don’t modify the products.

The Candy Land® board has pictures of the fun places in CANDY LAND. There is a colorful path that leads to all of the fun places.

The CANDY LAND game also comes

with a stack of colorful cards.

Look to see if you can find the 6 different places in CANDY LAND:

The game also comes with 4 fun movers. Which mover is your favorite?

First, pick your favorite mover and place it next to the start sign.

Next, pick a card from the stack.

The card will have a color or object on it. Follow the path on the board until you reach the closest square

of the same color. Move your character mover to that square.

Continue to pick cards and move until you reach the Kings Kandy’s Castle.
