Needs Analysis1. The work of Cmi is international.2. The four languages of the Institute are used.3. Communications need to be in the languages the Home Provinces [Volunteers] and Host Provinces

[Welcoming Communities]4. Communications need to have a timely response. Waiting for translations clog the process. Google

translations can be misleading. Courtesy requires replies in the appropriate language.5. Evaluation of the work of Cmi at the General Conference made reference to the need to communicate in

other languages.6. To address this need it is proposed that a person be appointed as an Assistant to the Director who would be

located in his own province but communicating regularly with the Director in Rome.7. As at the date of this presentation there is a ‘Case Load’ of 33 volunteers requiring management.8. Possibility that Cmi will be involved in animating and administering the new vision for international

communities.Cmi will b

e involved in animating and administering

the new vision for international communities.
