Round I of DDT spray: - Completed in Arunachal, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram,

Nagaland, Tripura, Jharkhand, Karnataka, A&N, Daman & Diu, Puducherry as per schedule

- In progress in rest of the States

Round II DDT spray - Scheduled to begin in Ist week of July in most States- Preparations expected

Requires supervision at all levels – including field visits

Necessary to have micro action plan – including advance information to villagers and PRIs

Timely release of wages to spray workers

• Involvement of villagers and local bodies not perceptible

• Spray wages not being released in time in some districts in Bihar (Saharsa, Sitamarhi)
