Cross Country Goes to State

On Saturday, October 5, our Cross Country runners Josh Morry-Mekiana, Jaden Rose, and Claire

Fry competed at Anchorage in the State Championship. Brooks Fry is their coach. Josh ran 21:41.7 and took 64th. Jaden ran 23:41.9 and took 74th. Claire ran 23:11.1 and took 22nd. Great job Nunamiut runners ! ! ! Below are the Middle School runners who competed at Regionals in Pt. Hope. Katie Fry is their coach.

Volleyball Goes to Nikolaevsk, and Kaktovik

October 15-20 our Mixed-6 Volleyball team lost to Nikolaevsk 0-3 on Oct 16. On Oct 17 they beat Kalskag 3-0 and Kodiak 3-1. On Oct 18 they lost to Nikolaevsk 2-3. They beat Aniak 3-0 and lost to Tanalian 0-3. Players on our team were Josh Morry, Jacob Ahgook, Claire Fry, Aaron Gordon, Winnie Morry, Kenton Mekiana, Jaden Rose, Rebecca Mekiana, Martina Morry, Robert Gordon, Harry Sheldon, Calvin Fry, William Hugo, and Arianna Hart. They coach is Brooks Fry. They travelled to Kaktovik October 24-27. Players who travelled to Kaktovik were Claire Fry, Billy Edwards, Martina Gordon, Robert Gordon, Harry Sheldon, Calvin Fry, William Hugo, and Arianna Hart. On Friday and Saturday they beat Kaktovik 3 games and Nuiqsut 3 games.
