Science
We are learning about the five senses! Can you remember what they are?
Modern Languages
This week we are going to learn numbers from 1 to 10 in Spanish! Watch the video to learn them and practice singing the song to remember them. Try singing with an adult!
Expressive Arts
Find things in your house to do a smell test. Match a few things that smell similar. What are the smells? Are they nice or unpleasant? Have you smelt this before?
Which smells were hard to match? Which smell was easiest to match?
Construction Time!
We are an eco school, but since we don’t get
to spend much time there for now, lets see how
we can be eco friendly at home! Build
something amazing with recycled materials in
your house.
Task:
There are some smells or odors in the air.
The smells are made up of tiny little parts called molecules that go inside your nose.
Tiny sensors inside your nose send a message to your brain telling it what it smells.
Watch Dr. Binocs explain the sense of
smell!

We are learning about being kind.
It is important to remember to choose to be kind.
Being kind has the power to change someone’s day
from a good one to a bad one! This is your best
superpower! If you choose to be kind, you’ll be a
kindness superhero! Draw a picture of you being a
kindness superhero.
Last week we started looking at stories about
Jesus.
The story we learned about showed us how much God
loves us, because he would never give up on us.
Watch this story about the Lost Sheep.
The man was so happy he found his sheep that he
celebrated at the end. Draw a time when you found
something that you lost.
How did you feel when you lost it?
How did you feel looking for it?
How did you feel when you found it?
We are learning to improve our gross motor skills
this week. This means you are learning how to move better, throw and catch! Here are some things you could do with an adult or a partner!
Find some of these things to make an obstacle course.
Try running, jumping, hopping and side stepping
around them.
Find something in your house you can throw and catch
with. Try throwing it up and clapping. How many times
can you throw and catch it without dropping??
