Summary

In 1943, Annemarie and Ellen find out that the Nazis are taking all of the Jewish people in Denmark to Concentration camps. Annemarie and her family all take care and hide Ellen from the Nazis. The next day, Annemarie’s family take her more north, just across from Sweden. In the middle of the night, many Jewish people climb into Annemarie’s Uncle Henrik’s Boat, and they set sail for Sweden.
