Jun 2019. We have made a number of particularly notable achievements. Our verticals are

progressing very satisfactorily.

NTR Memorial Trust is strong & vibrant and together we will continue our efforts to

positively impact the lives of the underprivileged. As we voyage together, we hope to

HIGHLIGHTS

Greetings!

1. On the occasion of the 96th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu, NTR Trust organized free medical camps & voluntary blood donation camps at various locations.

2. On “World Blood Donor Day” - 14th June 2019, NTR Trust's first “Thalassemia Care Centre” was inaugurated by our Managing Trustee Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari garu at NTR Memorial Trust Blood Bank, Road No.2, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

3. NTR Educational Institution welcomed the new Academic Session 2019-2020. Children enjoyed coming back to school with their enthusiastic participation in the assembly activities.

4. On the eve of NTR Trust Managing Trustee Smt Nara Bhuvaneswari Garu's Birthday, NTR Memorial Trust has donated 8 Alamaras with 8 lockers to the children of Devnar School for the Blind, Begumpet - Hyderabad.

HEALTH

Key Activities:

1. A Blood Donation Camp was organized by NTR Trust Blood Banks in collaboration with Swaraaj organization at Gajuwaka, Visakhapatnam. 50 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

2. A Blood Donation Camp was organized by NTR Trust Blood Banks in collaboration with Generation Yuvaa in Visakhapatnam. 50 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

3. NTR Trust in collaboration with Dr. C. L. Venkatarao, Kamineni Hospital & Saint Joseph Dental College, organized a 2 day Free Medical Camp at Gudlavalleru Village, Krishna District. 187 residents came for the health check-up.

4. NTR Trust Blood Banks organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Inspiredge IT Solutions, Visakhapatnam. Donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

5. A Blood Donation Camp was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with Bousher Blood Bank, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. 111 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

6. NTR Trust in collaboration with Sentini Hospital & Lions Club Gudiwada Pragati, organized a Free Medical Camp at Billapadu village, Gudivada Constituency, Krishna district. 287 residents came for the health check-up.

7. NTR Memorial Trust in collaboration with Shankar Eye Hospital, Guntur, organized a Free Eye Camp at Uppugundur village, Santhanuthalapadu Constituency, Prakasam District. 389 residents came for the health check-up.

8. Sri K. Rajendra Kumar IPS (Retd), CEO of NTR Memorial Trust inaugurated free Health camp at NTR Trust Bhavan, Hyderabad on the occasion of the 96th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Garu. NTR Trust in collaboration with Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Live Life Hospital, KIMS Hospital and AP Dental Super Specialty Hospital organized this free medical camp. 177 residents came for the health check-up. 36 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood. Similar programs were organised at various locations by NTR Memorial Trust on this occasion.

9. “World Blood Donor Day”(WBDD) was celebrated by NTR Trust Blood Banks at Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Guntur & Tirupati on 14th June 2019. The slogan for this year’s campaign is “Safe blood for all”. On this WBDD, NTR Trust's first “Thalassemia Care Centre” was inaugurated by our Managing Trustee Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari garu at NTR Memorial Trust Blood Bank, Road No.2, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

10. During May and Jun 2019, NTR Trust organized free Medical Camps across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, wherein people were given free health checkup. These Healthcare camps aim at promoting health-seeking behaviour in the long term and these camps majorly work on building awareness regarding common ailments, nutrition, hygiene and sanitation. These camps provide comprehensive health services free of cost.

11. During May and Jun 2019, NTR Trust Blood Banks have organized numerous Volunteer Blood Donation Camps across the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

EDUCATION Key Activities:

1. NTR Model Schools Warangal, Challapalli and Hyderabad for achieved 100% results in their CBSE & SSC – 2019 exams. Our Managing Trustee Smt Nara Bhuvaneswari garu, congratulated the Principals and Staff-both teaching and non-teaching, for their dedication and hard work in transforming the NTR Model Schools as Centres of Excellence.

2. Ms.Mekala Nagamani studied at NTR Model School, Gandipet, Hyderabad and now she is working at Cognizant,

Hyderabad. We supported Nagamani to achieve her dream.

3. NTR Educational Institution welcomed the new Academic Session 2019-2020 by conducting the morning

assembly with full zeal & enthusiasm. Children enjoyed coming back to school with their enthusiastic participation in the assembly activities.

4. International day of Yoga was celebrated at NTR Model School, Gandipet, Hyderabad with great enthusiasm. All the students showcased various Asanas which was followed by Omkar chanting. The importance of the demonstrated asanas were explained simultaneously to the students.

5. NTR Junior & Degree College for Women has made its mark in the field of Competitive Examinations by bagging top ranks in CLAT, AILET & LAWCETS of AP and Telangana. Smt. Nara Bhuvaneswari Garu distributed mementos and appreciation certificates to all toppers of NTR Junior & Degree College for Women.

6. NCC (National Cadet Corps) Army Wing introduced in NTR Model School Hyderabad on 29th June, 2019. This training will inculcate the qualities of discipline and patriotism among School Students. NCC aims at improving the overall personality of the School Students so that their energy can be harnessed and transform them into responsible and productive citizens of the Country.

1. NTR Memorial Trust donated Almaras and lockers to the children of Devnar School for the Blind, Begumpet - Hyderabad. On the eve of NTR Trust Managing Trustee Smt Nara Bhuvaneswari Garu's Birthday, NTR Memorial Trust has donated 8 Alamaras with 8 lockers to the special needs school. NTR Trust CEO, Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar IPS (Retd) visited the school and interacted with the teaching, non teaching staff and the students, where he also distributed goody bags to the kids. The school management expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture.
