Fuel Farm• The Port Melville fuel facility consists of three vertical storage tanks
(“VSTs”) with the following specifications: − Storage capacity: 30ml − Tank height: 15.2m − Tank diameter: 30m − Offloading rate: 13,000L / min at 1,000 kPa
• The Fuel Farm also has a Motor Control Centre room, dispensing pump skid, metering skid, a waste water system, slops tank, fire protection system and a light vehicle refuelling system
Dock Face / Wharf• The dock face is 220m long with a 110m concrete shore
connection pontoon• The wharf has a water depth of 14m alongside and is approved for
vessels up to 50,000 DWT• Roll-on / roll-off ramp• The following equipment is available on a wet hire basis/with
operator; − 20t capacity mobile crane (Franna) − 80t capacity mobile crane, rough terrain capable (Tadano) − 3t capacity forklift − 16t capacity forklift − 3t capacity tele-handler (Merlo)
− 6x4 prime mover (Volvo) − 40ft flatbed trailer − Service truck, 1500ltr fuel transfer capacity − Terminal tractor with 40ft flatbed trailer
Laydown Area / Tiwi Industrial Precinct• The port has approximately ten hectares of cleared area available
for laydown and industrial facilities• Plenty of available land for future expansion• Storage facilities, office space, a machine workshop as well as a
secured storage area• Strategic storage and replenishment centre for oil and gas critical
parts and equipment, including construction and operational support
Accommodation Village• The accommodation village has a CAT 5 cyclone rating • Built to BHP specifications, it has 32 new 11m2 rooms with ensuite
shower facilities, TV, mini-fridge and writing desks• Other facilities include; a common area for guests, internet access,
dining area, laundry facilities, a recreation area, an outdoor BBQ and 200m2 of office space, including conference and meeting rooms
