To be eligible for collaboration on site, all potential collaborators must meet the criteria stated below throughout the whole event. We're happy to help guide you and provide ideas on sustainable solutions that eliminate the need for single use products! Get in touch with us if you have any doubts!

All sponsors and collaborators will receive:

• Promotion of logo on our website (Starting two weeks before the event) • Promotion on our social media channels (Announcement of collaboration prior to the event and Recognition of Collaboration after the

event) • An opportunity to promote themselves during the night of the event. (Note that due to limited time and human resources we will not be

able to take responsibility for collaborators on site promotion. Instead we welcome collaborators to join the event at their beach of choice where they may organise their on site promotion as desired.)

Collaborators agree to:

• Refrain from using any single-use-plastics items during the event. This includes but is not

limited to cups, utensils, straws, bottles, bags, lids, coffee stirrers, ice cream spoons etc.

• Refrain from using and/or providing single use materials for activities or decoration,

such as for example, but not limited to balloons, single use candle holders, sky lanterns,

lanterns for release at sea, cellophane etc.

• Items labeled as biodegradable usually require an industrial composter and high

temperatures in order to degrade. Unless these conditions are met, most of these items

will not biodegrade. Instead their use risks causing increased contamination. As there is

no existing system in place to recognise, separate and recover these materials in a

responsible way, these products are not accepted as alternatives to conventional single-

use-plastics.

• All collaborators are encouraged to use reusable products, or in case of serving food,

opt for foods that require no utensils such as finger food. Where this is not possible,

naturally biodegradable materials such as paper towels, paper bags, wooden/bamboo

utensils etc. are allowed.
