General James Conway (USMC, Ret.) - Speaking Topic » Energy Security General James T. Conway served as the 34th Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, representing his branch of service at the Joint Chiefs. As Commandant, General Conway served as the senior uniformed Marine responsible for the organization, training, and equipping of over

250,000 active duty, reserve, and civilian personnel throughout the United States and overseas, as well as the management of the $40 billion annual Marine Corps budget from 2006 to 2010.

NSIC Focus: General Conway saw first hand the fundamental role that energy plays in global geopolitics. Since his retirement from the Marine Corps, he has dedicated his focus to America’s energy security and will share regarding threats in the Middle East as well as possible American responses. Fred Fleitz - Accompanying the Private Tour of the International Spy MuseumFrederick Fleitz joined the Central Intelligence Agency during the directorship of William J. Casey and served as a senior analyst for almost two decades. During the administration of President George W. Mr. Gaffney was nominated by President Reagan to become the Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Policy, the senior position in the Defense Department with responsibility for policies

involving nuclear forces, arms control and U.S.-European defense relations. This followed four years as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense and many years as a Professional Staff member or aid in the United States Senate.

Louie Gohmert – Leading the Private Tour of CongressServing his sixth term in the United States House of Representatives, Congressman Louie Gohmert represents the First District of Texas. Congressman Gohmert is the Chairman of the Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations and the Vice Chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security.

Chris Graham – Speaking Topic » Geo-political RiskMr. Graham enlisted in the U.S. Marines at age 17 and served as an ANGLICO, and Force Recon Marine. He was a founding member of the USMC Anti-Terrorism Battalion, later served as an Intelligence Officer and was honorably discharged from active duty at the rank of captain. Mr. Graham regularly deploys to Afghanistan and other “high-threat” locations as a civilian providing contracted tactical skills training and “operational support” to select US Government agencies.

Sean McGurk – Speaking Topic » Understanding Cyber ThreatsMr. McGurk is the current head of Critical Infrastructure Protection / Industrial Control System Security at Intel Security. Mr. McGurk served as a member of the Federal Government’s Senior Executive Service (SES) while at the Department of Homeland Security as the Director of the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC). While at DHS he also

served as the Director of the Control Systems Security Program and established the Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS-CERT).
