March 30th-April 3rd Menu Work
Writing Assignments from Menu Work: Choice of Writing Prompt: Your student can select whichever prompt from the April Writing Prompts page to respond to. In the submission, they need to include the following: 1. Which prompt they selected. They DO NOT need to rewrite the prompt on their paper, they can simply write "I chose to respond to prompt #___" at the top of their paper. (Each prompt is numbered on the document) 2. They must use correct spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. 3. They need to have a MINIMUM of 4 complete sentences. Skills Review Sheet: This page is an overview of 3rd grade skills we have learned/are learning that your student should be familiar with. If you are unable to print, have your student write their answers on a piece of paper and submit that way. Free Write: For this assignment, your student can write about anything their heart desires! (As long as it is school appropriate since they will be turning it in to me) They must have AT LEAST 5 complete sentences with proper spelling, punctuation, and capitalization.

March 30th-April 3rd Menu Work Spelling Assignments from Menu Work: Spelling 3x Each: For this assignment, your student needs to write each one of their spelling words 3x each. The document is included below for you to print, or they can record their words on a piece of paper. Word Search: For this assignment, your student needs to find each of their spelling words in the word search. They may use a highlighter or pencil to show their answers. The document is included below for you to print. I would not recommend choosing this assignment if you are unable to print as they would have to copy down the word search in order to complete it on a piece of paper. Spelling Sentences: For this assignment, your student needs to use each of their spelling words correctly in a sentence. The sentences should have correct spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. The document is included below for you to print, or they can record their sentences on a piece of paper.
