Function

Theconductivityoftheliquidisusedtosignaltheliquidlevel.Someliquidsareconductive,whichmeansthattheyallowanelectriccurrenttoflowthroughthem.Forthesafefunctioningofthisdeviceaminimumconductivityoftheliquidtothemonitoredisrequired.Theconductivitymeasurementmethodcandetecttwoconditions:electroderodsubmergedorexposed,meaningswitchpointreached(orexceeded)ornotyetreached.Beforeinstallation,thelengthoftheelectroderodmustbecuttotherequiredswitchinglevels,e.g.cut-outoftheburnercircuitorinterruptionoftheburner-protectioncircuit.Thesystemincorporatesanadditionalelectrodethatprovidesautomaticmonitoringoftheelectricalresistancepathbetweenthemeasuringelectrodeandtheearth.Whenthemeasuredvaluefallsbelowtheadmissibleresistancevaluetheburnershutdownisendorsedbyinterruptionoftheburnerprotectioncircuit.Atregularintervals,thelevelelectrodeNRG...-40sendsadatatelegramtotheswitchingcontrollerNRS-40.ThedatatransferiseffectedbymeansofaCANbusaccordingtoDINISO898usingtheCANopenprotocol.OneswitchingcontrollertypeNRS-40orNRS-40.canbeusedfortwolevelelectrodesNRG...-40(low-levellimitingsystem).

Faultfindinglistfortroubleshooting

Equipmentfailstowork–Indicationofamalfunction

Fault: Inspiteofcorrectwiringandcommissioningoftheequipmentaninterferencesignalisindicated.

Remedy: TheinterferencesignaliscausedbyH.F.interferencescomingfromtheinstallation.Forinterferencesuppressionofthevoltagesupplywesupplyferriterings,stockcode4753.The30Vsupplylinesshouldbeloopedthroughtheferriteringfivetotentimes.Ifseveralcontrollersareusedinthesystem,theycanbefedfromtheinterferencesuppressedsupplylines.Fortheinterferencesuppressionofthebuslinewesupplyhinged-shellferriterings,stockcode4754.Thehinged-shellferriteringsareclampedontothebuslineclosetotheterminalstripofthecontroller.

Levelelectrodesubmerged–Low-levelalarm

Fault: Mainsvoltagenotapplied.Remedy: Applymainsvoltage.Connectelectrodeaccordingtowiringdiagram.

Fault: Thermalfusehasbeentriggered.Remedy: Theambienttemperaturemustnotexceed70 °C.

Fault: Theelectroderodshaveearthcontact.Remedy: Changeinstallationposition.
