I was married in 2011 to the love of my life, and I am a mother of one 3 year old boy.

I currently have 3 dogs, and have loved animals of all shapes and sizes since a child. My dream would be to have an animal menagerie.

I love the ocean and pretty much anything related to water. I spend the majority of my free time pool or beachside.

I have recently joined the choir at my church, and was in my first Christmas Cantata and Easter Cantata.

I also have a very serious Starbucks obsession, which I have been known to appease up to three times a day. 2

I began my nursing career in the hectic, fast-paced, every changing environment of the Emergency Department, and spent 10 years learning and growing in varied roles within the department. I became a Certified Emergency Nurse in 2014.

I recently have joined the management side of nursing on a busy medical-surgical unit, and I am finding it to be an awesome growth experience. 3

Went straight into MSN in Nursing Education

I attended SUNY Farmingdale located in Long Island, New York, and graduated with my Associates Degree in Nursing in 2005.

8 years later I decided to go back to school, and attended Chamberlain College of Nursing through the online venue, and found it very rewarding.

I decided to continue advancing my education, and went straight into the Masters Program of Chamberlain, specializing in Nursing Education. Though my initial focus was Nursing Leadership. I am due to complete the MSN in Nursing Education in October 2016, with my practicum coming up this July. 4
