Trust Him when dark doubts assail you;Trust Him when your strength is small;Trust Him when to simply trust Himseems the hardest thing of all!

Trust Him - He is ever faithful;Trust Him for His will is best;Trust Him for the heart of JesusIs the only place of rest!

Sweet Heart of Jesus! Fount of love and mercy, Today we come thy blessings to implore; Oh touch our hearts so cold and so ungrateful, And make them Lord, thine own for evermore.

Sweet Heart of Jesus! we implore, Oh, make us love thee, more and more.

Sweet Heart of Jesus! Make us know and love thee. Unfold to us the treasures of thy grace. That so our hearts, from things of earth uplifted, May long alone to gaze upon thy face.

Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Lord Jesus, I give and consecrate myself to your Most Sacred Heart. I give you my life, my actions, sufferings and joys.

May I be united to you in all things and in all ways, growing day by day in your grace and love.

I ask You, O Most Sacred Heart, to be the object of my love, the guardian of my life, my help in temptation,

mercy in sin and my assurance of salvation.O Heart of Love, I put all my confidence in You,

I can do nothing without your grace, but hope for all things from Your infinite goodness.

Look with kindness on my family, my friends and the whole world.

Let your pure love imprint Your image so deeply on our hearts,

that all will come to know you, and none be ever separated from You.

The 12 promises of the Lord Jesus to those devoted to His Sacred Heart

1. I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life. 2. I will give peace in their families and will unite families that are divided. 3. I will console

them in all their troubles. 4. I will be their refuge during life and above all in death. 5. I will bestow the blessings of Heaven on all their enterprises. 6. Sinners shall find in my Heart the source and

infinite ocean of mercy. 7. Tepid souls shall become fervent. 8. Fervent souls shall rise quickly to great perfection. 9. I will bless those places wherein the image of My Heart shall be exposed and honoured

and will imprint My love on the hearts of those who would wear this image on their person. I will

also destroy in them all disordered movements. 10. I will give to priests who are animated by a tender

devotion to my Divine Heart the gift of touching the most hardened hearts. 11. Those who promote this

devotion shall have their names written in my Heart, never to be effaced. 12. I promise you in the excessive

mercy of my Heart that my all-powerful love will grant to all those who communicate on the First

Friday in nine consecutive months, the grace of final penitence: they will not die in my disgrace, nor without receiving their Sacraments. My Divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment.
