It is hard to believe that

we have been on this

journey for over 120

days. There have been

some fun and challeng-

ing times with more to

come. Your Soldiers

have been afforded the

privilege of civilian

clothes and the opportu-

nity to go on MWR trips

to see Doha.

They are beginning to

take advantages of those

opportunities and are

enjoying them. Each

and every day here, is a

new adventure. The holi-

days can be a stressful

time. Everything that can

be done will be done for

the Soldiers here. Rest

assured that we ate well

for Thanksgiving and

COMMANDER’S CORNER

I hope that everyone had a good

Thanksgiving Holiday. Our Soldiers

had the opportunity to take part in a

well deserved meal on Thanksgiving

and a few had the opportunity to cele-

brate with other families here in Qatar.

Although not the same as home, Camp

As Sayliyah did it’s best to make it

feel like the Holidays with the family.

Our Soldiers are continuing to work

hard everyday here and make im-

provements daily to improve the secu-

rity of the area. We have had a lot of

deserving promotions that you will see

on the following pages of the newslet-

ter. Your Soldiers have earned their

rank so please join me in congratulat-

ing them. As always I would like to

welcome our newest members of the

2175th MP CO family, and this month

there are a lot! Welcome to Aiden

Hunter Mathews born to Amy and SPC

Travis Mathews. Candace Taylor

White born to Fancy and SPC Jeremy

White. James Henry Asbury born to

Leia and SSG Joseph Asbury. I look

forward to sharing with you the suc-

cesses that our Soldiers make during

the coming months. Once again

Happy Holidays and we will write

again soon!

FRG SPOTLIGHT

Sitting here today, thinking about what

still need to be done for the Breakfast

with Santa, and also the Christmas Ball.

Then it really hits home, that we do not

have everyone here to attend these great

events. In 2 days, we will be able to see

the kids faces either light-up or start cry-

ing when they see Santa. I am sure you

know we will be have plenty of photos

to share with everyone on the FRG site.

As far the Christmas Ball, everyone will

be thinking about their loved ones and

planning to make the next years

party a bigger event that this

year. My wish to each of you is

to have a wonderful Christmas

Season (oops not political cor-

rect). Our prayers and thoughts

are with you always. Remember,

we have your backs over on this

side of the world.

Mama Z

will eat well again for

Christmas. We know

we are in your prayers

and you are in ours.

God Bless and Happy

Holidays!
