CHOIR ANNOUNCEMENT A D V E N T F A I R

On Sunday, December 1st, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.,

we will have our annual Advent Fair in the 11th

Street Gym. This event is a great way to begin our

Advent season and is for ALL ages. During this time

together, there are opportunities to make Christmas

ornaments, decorations, and keepsakes. We will

provide chili, nachos, and drinks but encourage you

to bring your favorite Christmas snack to add to the

festivities! This is a great time for us to come togeth-

er as a Church Family, visiting and getting to know

those who may attend a different service on Sun-

days!

Central’s Casserole Ministry

Use your cooking skills to benefit members of CUMC through our

NEW casserole ministry. This is an opportunity to share God’s love

and comfort through food. The donated food items will go to mem-

bers who have had an illness, injury, a death or birth in the family, or

simply fallen on tough times. Submission Instructions:

Casseroles should arrive already frozen in a DISPOSABLE

container such as an aluminum pan, as these pans will not be

returned.

Please prepare items that will freeze well.

Casseroles should be wrapped securely in aluminum foil be-

fore the top is secured in place.

Please make sure your items are clearly labeled. Lables for

these items must include:

1) Date prepared 2) Name of item 3) Cooking instructions

The drop-off freezer is in the kitchen directly across from the

fellowship hall and is located directly behind the serving lines

in the kitchen. We will have an additional freezer located in the

gym dedicated solely for the use of our casserole ministry.

Place the LABELED item in the freezer and ensure the freezer

door is tightly shut.

• We will have labels available for you located next to the freezer.

It is extremely important that all items placed in the freezer are

labeled.

• Multiple items are welcome and strongly encouraged. We

would love for you to send as many items as possible.

** You do NOT have to be a member of Central to submit items. **

Please contact Katie McDaniel at 601.214.4113 or [email protected] if you need assistance.
