HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

•What:• Benevolence outreach ministry of the FWA Chapel congregations, FWA Units and various community support agencies during Thanksgiving• Showcases opportunities for spiritual fitness, family resiliency and group networking at FWA

•Who:• Nominated Soldiers/Families• Based on need, not rank• This year, also DA Civilians on a case by case basis

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

Northern Lights November 2013

14 buildings (56 units) completed. Interior, exterior and utilities work continues. Landscaping is coming to an end for the season.

North Haven Community CenterHours of Operation:Monday through Friday ● 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents may reserve the multi-purpose room or theatre for use during business hours or reserve all rooms for use after hours.

North Haven utilizes Insite, an online survey system, to provide a quick, easy method for gathering feedback from residents.

Random drawings for prizes are periodically conducted as a “thank you” to residents for taking the time to provide valuable feedback.

NOVEMBER IS INSITE SURVEY MONTH

Residents who fill out an Insite Survey between November 1st – 22nd will automatically be entered into a contest to win a private consultation with a Lancôme representative & a Lancôme gift bag at the PX.

Winner will be announced on Facebook on November 22nd.

NURSE ADVICE LINE

Goals

• Provide 24 hour a day/7-day a week nursing advice and triage

• Improve access to the most clinically appropriate level of care

• Reduce unnecessary Emergency Department utilization

• Enhance the patient’s continuous healthcare relationship with his/her Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) and Primary Care Manager (PCM)

• Maximize patient satisfaction

• Access to advice from registered nurses 24 hours a day/7 days a week using standard triage protocols

• Advice on most clinically appropriate level of care

• Acute appointments in Composite Health Care System (CHCS) if indicated
