• World-renowned guitarist, Javier Reyes (Animals As Leaders, T.R.A.M.), has inked a new solo deal with Sumerian Records for his new project MESTÍS, which is an all-instrumental effort. • His debut EP, 'Basal Ganglia', is a fi ve track offering showcasing Reyes’ vast musical diversity and features an intriguing variety of instrumentation performed by highly acclaimed musicians. • Reyes states: “Basal Ganglia is an EP that come from several places, and by places, I mean infl uences. I’ve always wanted to create a style of music that focused on being emotionally exploitive and technically sound, yet simple enough for the average music listener to appreciate. Another infl uence was using the eight string guitar in a form that is unconventional to the ‘trends’ or independent of characteristics that are found in music styles/genres that have popularized it. • JOHNNY CASH is one of the most infl uential musical fi gures of the last 50 years. His deep, resonant voice and sparse guitar style have given him an instantly recognisable sound that manages to sit somewhere between folk, rock and country. • The concert on this album was recorded at the Tennessee State Penitentiary in Nashville in 1976. It is one of only two of his prison concerts that were fi lmed for broadcast. It features Cash with special guests Linda Ronstadt and Roy Clark performing a selection of their biggest hits such as "Folsom Prison Blues", "Orange Blossom Special", "A Boy Named Sue" and Ronstadt’s version of the Eagles’ "Desperado".

• SURVIVAL formed in 2011 in the materialism capital of Australia – the Gold Coast, Queensland. Featuring members from many established Australian hardcore bands including 50 Lions and Street Youth, the band came together with the idea to kick back against their shallow and vapid surroundings and make music with aggression, conviction and something to say.• In their short existence as a band, SURVIVAL have made a conscious effort to make an impact on the Australian hardcore scene. After releasing a widely praised demo, they wasted no time hitting the stage with a variety of local and international acts including Parkway Drive, Bitter End and Cruel Hand, earning themselves a fi erce reputation for an aggressive, energetic and crushingly heavy live show.• SURVIVAL headed into the studio in late 2012 and laid down the tracks for their upcoming self-titled 7”, to be released through Resist Records on December 7.• In December they will also be joining I Killed The Prom Queen and Northlane as national supports on the Parkway Drive "Atlas" tour.

The programme brings together a collection of Irish stars at Slane Castle in Ireland to talk about their recollections of Christmas and to create some magical performances.The programme includes Christmas Carols, traditional Irish songs, both traditional and contemporary Irish dancing and readings.

• This amazing concert brings together some of the true pioneers of rock ‘n’ roll music including Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, James Brown, Fats Domino and B.B.King. • Recorded in Italy in 1989 it features these legendary artists in performance of their best loved tracks such as Papa’s "Got A Brand New Bag", "Bo Diddley", "Great Balls Of Fire", "Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On" and "Blueberry Hil"l. At the end of the concert all the performers come together for all-star jam that leaves the audience hollering for more. It’s a rare event indeed that brings so many great live performers together on one bill and this DVD captures the real excitement of the evening.
