Our Roles & ResponsibilitiesAccording to the WAAAUB bylaws “The Committee for Chapters shall

• develop strong links among WAAAUB, its constituent groups and among its chapters

• assist the Chapters in complying and monitor their compliance with the WAAAUB Chapter Policies and Procedures

• recommend to the WAAAUB Board the approval of new chapters or the termination of the status of existing chapters which fail to meet the requirements of the WAAAUB Chapter Policies and Procedures

• “from time to time” review and recommend changes to the Chapter Policies and Procedures to the WAAAUB Board.

• nominate to the WAAAUB Board the candidates for the Distinguished alumni and Outstanding Alumni Chapter awards. “

Strategy 2010-2011

• Conduct regional and individual meetings with alumni chapters worldwide

• Revitalize existing dormant chapters; establish new ones.

• Collect news of chapters events • Coordinate with the Outreach Committee for alumni data updates

from chapters’ resources

• Assist with compliance to WAAAUB Chapter Policies and Procedures• Nominate to the WAAAUB Board the candidates for the Distinguished

alumni and Outstanding Alumni Chapter awards
