Let’s all have a nice and active fall. I look forward to seeing you out in the community! The Communiplex’s Dream Getaway Lottery selected its 10th winner of 2018 on October 15 th . I had fun get- ting to participate by making the draw. Bev and Jerome Bonokoski were the winners of a $1000 dollar travel voucher courtesy of Eastside Travel! The next draw will be Thursday, November 15 th , 2018. Good luck to all you ticket holders! Happening in the Community: Public Skate Times will begin Thursday, November 15 th , 2018. They will run every Thursday evening from 6:00p.m until 8:00p.m and every Sunday evening from 7:00p.m until 8:30p.m during the skating season. Allan Senior Flames Hockey Home Opener, Saturday, November 17 th , 2018 at 8:00p.m. Come on out and show your support for our team! Chase the Ace draws will be switching to the Communiplex November 17 th , and will continue to run EVERY Saturday evening at 8 p.m. sharp. If you didn’t get a chance to pick up a ticket from the Town Office or one of the Organization Volunteers then ticket sales run from 5 – 7 p.m. prior to each draw on Saturday nights. Our Jackpot is over $2000! Tickets on Sale now for Dinner Theater! Allan Creative Players Presents: The Crazy Quilt Club Written by Pat Cook. Showtime’s are on Friday, November 16 th , 2018 and Saturday, November 17 th , 2018 with Cocktails at 5:30p.m and Curtains drawn at 7:30p.m. Tickets are $30 and include supper. A 2:00p.m Matinee is being shown Sunday, November 18 th , 2018 with tickets costing $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets are availa- ble at the Town Office. My name is Bri Garvin and I am the new Recreation Director for Allan. I would like to say a big hello to every-

The Communiplex’s Dream Getaway Lottery selected its 10th winner of 2018 on October 15th. I had fun get-

Happening in the Community:

Public Skate Times will begin Thursday, November 15th, 2018. They will run every Thursday evening from

6:00p.m until 8:00p.m and every Sunday evening from 7:00p.m until 8:30p.m during the skating season.

Allan Fall Supper Thank you for supporting the Fall Supper this year whether it was volunteering or through donations. It wouldn't be as successful as it is each year. We served 606 people this year, and have a net profit of approximately $7902.41 If you wish to have a copy of the financial report please contact Anne Molden-hauer @ 257-3578. Allan Community Heritage Museum The Museum is officially closed for the 2018 season. Thanks to everyone who played a part in this year’s success. This includes visitors, volunteers, summer students and every person/ family who lent and/or donated items to make our displays beautiful and rich in local history!

A reminder that the Allan Community Heritage Society and Museum AGM on November 27th. If you are interested in this event then you are welcome to come out! There is no museum board meeting in December meetings will resume n the last Tuesday of the month in January. Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 scavenger hunt: HUNTER JAQUES and ORRICK SCHEIBELBEIN they were drawn out of 107 entries! The Allan Community Heritage Society and Museum will have a display set up on the 24th of November at the Allan Craft Sale/ Tradeshow from 10am to 3pm located at the school. We are still looking for various community and family oriented photos, please keep us in mind if you come across some this winter. This year the Allan Community Heritage Society and Museum would like to give a great big THANKS to Young Canada Works, Canada Summer Jobs, Community Initiative Fund, Sask Culture, Sask Lotteries, Town of Allan, Parks and Rec, and the RM of Lost River for your financial contributions/ grants that support our Museum!
