I was born in a small Ukrainian town where my parents

were soon forced to look for a better life, moving to

Portugal when I was six. As a dedicated student, I’ve

tried to make the most of my free time. I’ve always

enjoyed music, arts, science, and math. Meanwhile, I've

developed a passion for Journalism and Strategic

Communication, and I got the chance to go on Erasmus

to Finland, where I learned my sixth language. I decided

to do my Masters at Nova SBE because I believe that it

will give me the right tools to make a positive impact on

society and in my career path. One that enhances my

passions, values, and beliefs.

What is the Nova SBE Fellowshipfor Excellence?

Nova SBE Fellowship for Excellence aims to identify

talent and provide Fellows with nothing short of the best

possible learning environment. It prepares individuals to

achieve their full potential as students, no doubt, but

also as citizens and human beings. The program

includes exclusive networking opportunities, social

impact experiences and a leadership program with

business leaders as keynote speakers. In other words, it

gives the Fellows the opportunity to go out into the world

and leave their mark; whatever that mark might be.

including their own individual goals. Having their potential recognized is

just the beginning: team spirit, entrepreneurship, integrity, and respect are

no less powerful than ambition, learning agility and curricular

through direct engagement with the Fellows via networking events,

What inspiring future are you investing in?

I consider myself a dreamer, a maker, a conqueror.

I fought my way through Biomedical Engineering, studying

and practicing sports while providing for my family by

mastering subjects and tutoring them to students. I created

NOVA’s Korfball Team, being its coach and captain. I

learned how to lead, to be the one that goes in the front of

the group, which sets an example and works with

everybody to achieve goals that others deem impossible. I

am anxious for the future and excited to be the best

version of myself, to face and conquer many challenges.
