On June 14th & 15th Darren Westwood and riding partner, Mike Hill, tackled the rainy &

somewhat challenging Ride to Conquer Cancer from Vancouver to Seattle, over 250km of riding,

working together with Team Paladin & the BC Cancer Foundation

to raise over $9.1 million for this very important cause.

“The ride was one of the most inspirational and literally life changing moments for me, I met some amazing

new friends, connected with lots of families, all joined under this cause, it really makes you appreciate what you have, I know

I will never take anything for granted again!” says Darren.“I am so grateful to all my family and friends and especially our

wonderful clients like Bev & Debbie of Shear Essence, and many others who helped make my first Ride to Conquer Cancer, a huge success.

Together we are changing the face of cancer in B.C.”Look out 2015, we have lots planned for the ride again, taking place

August 29/30. “Team Nova” will be hitting the training routes late summer, and the fundraising will begin again…
