Days last Saturday. Jan Sattler, left, completes

Herndon event. Carefully studying the Christ-
mas items were shoppers (from left) Doris Fin-
ley, Ruby Leochner, Leta Focke, Myra Sattler
and Brenda Henry. They were among 251
guests who registered at the door. The St.
Mary’s CYO and Christian Mothers Altar Soci-
ety served lunch. They nearly sold out of their
food, which was for a free-will offering. Vicki
Chance’s colorfully lighted Christmas wreaths
were nearly a total sell-out. Like most of the
vendors Saturday, she reported good sales
from customers pleased with the merchandise.
