The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has organized a

two day National level workshop on Electrical Computer Aided Design

(ECAD) on 2nd & 3rd Nov. 2015

The technical session started

with B.Giri Kiran working as an

engineer – ESD, B Fouress (p)

limited, Hoskote Bangalore,

who had discussed about the

overview of Electrical Comput-

er Aided Design (ECAD) and

the following points, has been

discussed by the resource per-

son.

The next day technical session started with Ramkumar D, G.I.S Engineer,

Avineon India Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, who had discussed about the over-

view of Geographical Information System. He mentioned that by using Mi-

cro Station, users can confidently model, document and visualize projects of

any size.

Dr.P.V.V.Rama Rao, HOD of EEE, He

mentioned that the objective of this workshop is

to develop a preliminary insight of Electrical

Computer Aided Design (ECAD) Tools employed

for the design and development of electrical sys-

tems. This two-day ECAD workshop incorporates

basic & fundamental design flows employed in

the design & development of transformers, elec-

trical machines, circuit layout design.

sources. Our current rate of fossil fuel usage

will lead to an energy crisis this century. In

order to survive the energy crisis many com-

panies in the energy industry are inventing

new ways to extract energy from renewable

sources. While the rate of development is

slow, mainstream awareness and govern-
