THE HARVARD CATHOLIC CENTER ANNUAL FUNDThe Annual Fund is a vital source of support for the Harvard Catholic Center and it allows our ministry to nourish the faith for students like Alma, Justin, and thousands more. The Harvard Catholic Center doesn’t receive funding from the Archdiocese or the University. We rely on the generosity of Harvard alumni, parents, faculty, foundations and friends for funding so we can remain a powerful force for Jesus Christ throughout Harvard and the World.

Please consider a one-time donation to our ministry or consider joining the “Society of Crimson Catholics” by making a monthly recurring gift via a credit card or direct bank debit. Your gift of $20, $30, $50, or more each month can contribute mightily to our mission! And, you help reduce our fundraising and mailing costs by becoming a member of the “Society of Crimson Catholics.”

If you want to find a deeper meaning of life in God, The Harvard Catholic Center, St. Paul’s and the CSA (Catholic Student Association) provide that. There is vibrant student participation at Sunday and daily Masses that make one hopeful for the future. It shows that the intellect of Harvard students and a strong belief in God can go hand in hand. After the 8am Mass there are fun breakfasts with my classmates filled with thoughtful discussions. I’m in a Bible study led by a cool sophomore proudly from Louisiana, who I’ve grown close to, reading the Word and trying to make sense of it. The FOCUS missionaries provide a great unifying force that helps bind the CSA together. The event planning committee hosts great events for every occasion. The retreats in Maine are fruitful and the SLS FOCUS Conference over winter break was beyond words. The Harvard Catholic Center and the CSA have been a blessing this first year and I can sense the Holy Spirit’s presence in everyone I meet at the HCC.

When I arrived in Cambridge in August, the Harvard Catholic Center eagerly welcomed me into a home unlike any I had previously known. While my faith was important to me prior to enrolling at Harvard, the HCC drove me to foster my love for God, delve deeply into my studies, and bear greater fruit for my community. Now as an altar server, singer in the choir, leader of an adoration shift, member of a Bible study, and monthly spaghetti dinner devotee, I have placed my faith in its rightful spot at the core of my identity. The HCC provides me with an environment to make some of the greatest friends in my life, and, most importantly, grow closer to God than ever before.
