The Governor is pleased, in the interest of the Public Service, to appoint the following 17

(seventeen) officers of the feeder services of Joint BDO, noted against each of their names, to the WBCS (Exe) Cadre on promotion, as Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector (on probation) in the

Pay Band (PB-4A), Scale of pay of Rs.15600-42000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- under W.B.S (ROPAJ

Rules, 2009 corresponding to the revised Pay in Level 16 (Rs.56100/- - 144300/-) under W.B.S(ROPA)

Rules, 2019, until further orders, on the basis of the recommendation of the Public Service

All the officers, appointed to the WBCcs (Exe) Cadre will have to join as Deputy Magistrate &

Deputy Collector (on probation) at BRAIPRD, Kalyani, Nadia immediately.

They will have to undergo induction level training which will be commenced on and from

04.01.2021 at 10.00 a.m. at BRAIPRD, Kalyani, Nadia.

All the officers will be on probation for a period of 2 (two) years with effect from the date of

their joining in the service. Their confirmation will depend on their satisfactory services and on

passing the Half-yearly Departmental Examination, prescribed for the promotee officers, in terms of

the relevant provisions in the W.B.S.(Training and Examination) Rules. In the event, if they are

considered to be unsuitable for the service, they will be liable to reversion to their respective feeder

posts during the end of the period of their probation.

P& RD Department is requested to make arrangements for release of the concerned officers, appointed as Deputy Magistrate and Deputy Collector (on probation), hereinabove, in order to

enable them to join as Deputy Magistrate & Deputy Collector (on probation) at BRAIPRD, Kalyani,

Nadia immediately.
