Notice

Dated: 12/07/2013Subject: Unfair means case framed during Screening Test for the posts of Superintendent ITI in Technical

Education Department.

Whereas, the J&K Public Service Commission vide notification No. 06-PSC(DR_P) of 2013 dated:14.03.2013 invited applications for the posts of Superintendent ITI in Technical Education Department; and

Whereas, among others you also submitted your application form for the posts of Superintendent ITIin Technical Education Department; and

Whereas, vide notification No. PSC/Ex-13/38 Dated: 20.05.2013, the Screening Test for the aboveposts was held on 06.07.2013 at Public Service Commission Office Complex, Resham Ghar Colony, BakhshiNagar Jammu and Amar Singh College, Gogji Bagh, Srinagar, consequently, Roll No. 3800301 was allotted toyou; and

Whereas, on the day of Screening Test, prior warnings were issued by the supervisors againstresorting to any type of unfair means covered in J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination)Rules 2005; and

Whereas, during the course of examination you were found resorting to unfair means as reported bythe supervisory staff, details whereof is given as under:-

Whereas the incriminating material found in your possession falls within the definition of unfair meansunder Rule 20 of J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2005; and

Whereas, you are prima facie found guilty of resorting to unfair means and are liable to punishmentunder Rule 25 of J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2005; and

Whereas the case was placed before the Controller of Examinations in terms of Rule 23 of the J&KPublic Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2005 for consideration, who being satisfied thatprima facie case of unfair means exists against you has decided to serve a show cause notice upon you, as toway action under Rule, 25 of J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examination) Rules, 2005 be nottaken against you; and

Now, therefore, before imposing appropriate punishments under rules upon you, you are directed toShow Cause within 05 days from the date of issuance of this notice as to why action in terms of above quotedrule may not be taken against you. Failure to show cause within the stipulated time, action as warranted underrules shall follow, without any further notice.

However, in case you want to appear in person to produce any evidence or record your statement,you may appear before the Secretary & Controller of Examinations, J&K Public Service Commission, PoloGround, Srinagar on 17.07.2013 at 11:00 A.M for the purpose.
