NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Okanogan County Board of Commissioners will be holding a public hearing to consider public input and receive written comments related to the current Draft of the Okanogan County Comprehensive Plan. The hearings will take place at the following locations throughout the county. Public Hearing Dates, Times, and Places

1. Monday, February, 14, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Brewster Columbia Cove Recreation Center, 601 W. Cliff Ave, Brewster, WA 98812

2. Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Liberty Bell High School Commons, 18 Twin Lakes Road Winthrop, WA 98862

3. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the Oroville High School Commons, 816 Juniper Street, Oroville, WA. 98844

4. The fourth Public Hearing will be determined at a later date.

The current Draft of the Okanogan County Comprehensive Plan can be viewed on the county’s website at: www.okanogancounty.org/commissioners click on the NEW working draft of the Comprehensive Plan link on the commissioners’ webpage or copies may be obtained at the commissioners’ office located at 123 5th Avenue North, Okanogan, Washington 98840. Public comment relating to the current draft of the Comprehensive Plan is welcome. The commissioners’ strongly request comments be submitted in writing either at the hearing prior to testimony, by email to bcrowell@co.okanogan.wa.us, or by regular mail to Brenda Crowell Okanogan County Commissioners' Office, 123 5th Avenue North, Okanogan, Washington 98840. Commissioners will Not take any Q & A at this time. No Debates

Each person or group gets Five minutes at each hearing.

Cannot assign unused time to someone else.

Unlimited written testimony may be submitted to the Clerk of the Board until final

adoption. If you are mailing in your comments, mail to Okanogan County

Commissioners' Office, 123 5th Avenue North, Okanogan, Washington 98840.

A Ten minute break will be announced.

Comments on the EIS will Not be taken at this time.
