NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the

Orange County Local Agency Formation Commission to consider the proposed Plano Trabuco/Dove Canyon Annexation to the City of Rancho Santa Margarita (CA 13-11).

The Roman Catholic Bishop of Orange, a California Corporation Sole has

submitted a landowner petition for the annexation of approximately 1.70 acres of uninhabited territory located adjacent to the intersection of Plano Trabuco Road and Dove Canyon Drive. The annexation will result in the extension of the City of Rancho Santa Margarita’s boundary to include approximately 1.4-acres of the parcel located at the southwest corner of Plano Trabuco Road and Dove Canyon Drive, and a .3-acre portion of the public-right-of way at the intersection of Plano Trabuco Road and Dove Canyon Drive.

The hearing will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. at the Orange County Transportation Authority First Floor Board Room, 600 South Main Street, Orange, CA 92868.

At the hearing, the Commission will consider oral and written testimony by any interested person or affected agency and the report of the Executive Officer. As the Responsible Agency, the Commission will also review the environmental analysis performed by the City of Rancho Santa Margarita, and consider the Notice of Determination in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act.
